I rode this coaster on Media Day in April of 2000 when it opened. Because the new Gerstlauer coaster trains had not arrived, they had the PTC trains on it that day.Ones I believe were identical to the Screamin Eagle cars. It was an intense and very shaky ride but that is what I love about wooden coasters.The problem is the upkeep on these size wood coasters. The intense vibrations and lateral forces take a toll on the track and support structure.

Me and my friend were in the second row, and 2 of our friends were in the row behind us, but they were in a separate car since there are 2 rows per car. So the ride starts, and right when it starts my friend gets a phone call, which he obviously can't answer. So the whole ride he's yelling "WHO THE HECK IS CALLING ME OVER AND OVER AND OVER" only to find out that one of our friends behind us was accidentally butt dialing his phone number. lol

this ride hurts a little but its so much fun! the climb to go up to the first drop is really long though and gives you time to freak out. they usually have like signs on the side about season passes for you to read!

The Boss is the most unrideable coaster that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.

I will ride any coaster. No matter how tall, long, short, fast, slow, loops, no loops.

Its all good. This woodie was a waste of lumber!

It was broke during our wait in line.

It got hungup while cars were climbing first big hill, stranding all the passengers for nearly 20 minutes.

They got it going and rode it anyhow, getting this video while riding.

Fun, but not as fun as the Eagle there!
