  • Ahhh that sure br

    ing back memories

  • Bret cant stay still for shit LOL

  • I hear abt this dumb question on Jim neidhart was jail use of drug mugshot

  • brother love rules

  • Ah...the good ol days of pro wrestling.. I LOVEEE YOOOOUUUUUU. lol

  • One of the best character created by Bruce Pritchard Classic stuff.

  • I caught a pair of hitman glasses back in day. Haku was a motherfucker though

  • I LOVEEEEE YOUUUUUU

  • Bret Hart is the shit

  • @dieselshug you are the shit compared to him

  • I remember that match at Skydome. I blinked and it was over. I think it lasted less then 30 seconds.

  • Brother Love... His face almost matches his shirt 8-O

  • This is when wrestling was actually fun to watch:)

  • was jim neidhart loaded with 92 Oxycontin pills?

  • They look cute in their little purple leggings.

  • Brother Foundation.

  • @ikedirty318

    Heart Love.

  • bring back the brother love show

  • This is when Wrestling was good.

  • I was born in March 1990.... so can somebody tell me if Brother Love was heel or face

  • @DaKidRich90 I don't think the universe liked him. Sooo, heel.

  • @DaKidRich90 He was a heel, sort of. He nevered wrestled, but was a short time manager of (brace yourself) the Undertaker. His 'benafactor' was the Million Dollar Man and sided his interviews with the heels. His biggest mistake was at WM5 appearing on Piper's Pit with Morton Downey Jr and Hot Rod.

  • @Cavillier1970 I always wondered why Paul Bearer wasn't with the undertaker immediately..... But can u tell me what happened to Brother Love at WM5?

  • @DaKidRich90 He and Morton Downey Jr ( who had a talk show before Jerry Springer & Geraldo) were on Piper's Pit. Brother Love claimed it was his show, until the bagpipes were played. He was wearing a skit as opposed to Pipers kilt and claimed to be Scotch. Piper correctedd him that Scotch is a drink, and told the audience if Love made to heaven we were all a shoo in. Then Piper made fun of Love's knobby knees and pulled off his skirt leaving Love in his red bvds. Then Piper went for Downey.

  • @Cavillier1970 That's Crazy...... LOL

  • @DaKidRich90 He was a heel.

  • Bret smile is awesome!! Not much of that after words, which makes all the more sexy

  • I Loveeeeeeeeeeeee uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • the girl under the right side of the sign looks hot.

  • wait a second...weren't there three demoliition...i remember at the summerslam match when the foundation won the belts, they kept taking turns hiding under the ring, and sneaking out when the ref's back was turned...

  • OMG.. I Luv Bret.. ❤

  • I always thought, Bret looked a bit like Don Johnson back then. The Face, not the body.

  • @Konni1969 yes! I've been saying that for years and noone else agreed. Growing up I was a huge fan of Don Johnson and Bret b/c they were both hot.

  • lls @ Bruva Love Classic Drop man thanx

  • Brother Love had an annoying voice.

  • Where did they get that hat for Anvil ...

  • The bulge in Anvil's pants is unreal!

  • I love owen's Swimming-Hat

  • @Bangoustine thats not owen thats jim the anvil neidhart

  • I have no idea why everyone thnks Bret Hart was weak ont he mic. the guy is one fo the best on the mic. He had a way of making it sound legit and not liek he was acting. very few guys ahd that and Bret was one of them. I think one person along the lines probably said Bret was weak on the mic and far too many fans adopted that opinioin like a bunch of sheep. This coming from an HBK fan so.... I just think the opinion that Bret is weak on the mic is a load of bullshit.

  • lol @ the anvil rockin a pink kufi. aint nobody smackin that off his head

  • thank god for youtube so i can look back on the great tag teams from nwa/wcw/wwf/japan and mexico.

  • I'm tired of hearing Bret couldn't talk. He was not bad, I liked his style. No joking around, he got his point across, he had good intensity. Everyone tries to be funny in their interviews now, I prefer a wrestler who's pissed off and going crazy, which can be funny in it's own way e.g. Warrior and Macho Man.

  • @rockyrack2 I didn't even read your post untill after I made my post. I agree with you 100% Bret was real good on the mic.

  • Brother Love should be in the Hall of fame in 2011.

  • Wow how ironic were Anvil's statement about one of the Colossal Connection havin a heart attack? And yes I know he meant their finisher

  • I wonder how many times wrestlers said "well let me tell you somthin' brother love" on the brother love show

  • Best tag team ever assembled.

  • i think this is one of the best tag teams ever...

  • jim Neidhart looks like a member of zz top

  • Legends...

  • Ah, so this is how the Harts/Demo feud started :)

Btw, were the Harts and Russians feuding, or was it just a filler match for WM?

  • @fivebearrugs

Filler match. The Hart Foundation jumped the Bolsheviks during the playing of the Russian anthem and pinned them in about five seconds.

WrestleMania was in Canada, and the Hart Foundation needed a match to show why they deserved a title shot, so the WWF gave them a squash match and the crowd in Toronto loved it.

  • @BlueSkyeReynolds Thanks BlueSkye...I actually already knew about the match itself, lol, but I wasn't sure if there was a feud or if it was filler...wow...I never knew how many fillers made up the old WMs, lol. Some were obvious, like Backlund/Razor at WM 9 and Mountie/Tito at WM VII :)

  • Jim Neidhart seemed pretty boring and uninspiring on the microphone.

  • whats that stupid hat on the anvil's head?

  • its hard 2 say what year was the best 4 wwf in the 90s, 90' was sick as fuck,91' badass, 92' tight, 93' ill, 94' kool, 95'ok,96' horrible, 97' way better than 96', 98' awesome and 99' tha shit

  • No way, 86-89 was off the hook! 90's were ok but the hogan & andre fued got the worlds attention. even if you didnt like wrestling got the world talking!

  • actually sorry, i read you comment wrong!

  • lol its amazing how long bret hart's prime lasted.he was still in his prime in his 40s when he was forced to retire

  • Bret Hart was the excellence of execution. But, he was not a very good husband (in my opinion).

  • Brother looove

  • I cant even concentrate on what Bret is saying...His sparkly glasses, shiny skin, muscular toned, tanned body is WAY too distracting ; ) and lets not forget that gorgeous smile...god I love u hitman<3

  • Wow. This brings back memories. I was 9 years old back then, and the Hart Foundation were my favorite tag team. Well, them and the Rockers.

  • Bret Hart is awesome wrestler...

  • the guys face is so red

  • If anybody watches "Squidbillies" the blue teardrop shaped preacher thing...his voice is based entirely on Brother Love

  • It's funny hearing Bret say "Brother Love" lol

  • @Theproof12 omg it is funny lmao

  • Brother Love was awesome (the perfect heel), but damn, why was his face always so beet red?

  • It was make up. he was doing a take off on the hellfire & brimstone TV evangelists of the time like Jimmy Swaggart, jim bakker, etc

  • Just hearing Brother Love's music cracks me up! It fits him perfectly, it should be called, "The funny/phony/hypocrite song"! I'm a Hitman fan, and Anvil too, but as a team, I HATED them. Faces or heels, something about them together just annoyed me. At this time, after Demolition turned back heel, Ax would call them "The crybaby foundation" lol, I loved it!

  • this is when tag team meant something ! unlike these days :(

  • @teeoak

This is when the whole wrestling meant something.

  • Don't take it personally. He is just upset with himself that he is just a has been and can not get a good contract with a decent company. So he has to do jobber matches or do his own job.

Why do you think Bret wanted to work alone??? Bret made his ass famous!

  • LOVE this, people talks about Fight and Destruction with a romantic song ^^

  • everyone knows jim pulled most of the weight which most of there success came from

  • Brother Love Show !

  • The anvil's goatee is so awesome!! I am so jealous..

  • "THANK YOU BROTHERS & SISTERS! I LOOOOOOOOVE YOOOOOOOOU!" xD

Man, these were the glory days of WWE (or should I say WWF) Superstars every Saturday morning, followed by Wrestling Challenge on Sundays. Back when the tag team division was at its best, and when the IC title actually had some prestige to it. WTF happened? And WHY? :(

  • Vince McMahon taking over did. I mean he was always in control, but back then, people were oblivious to the role he played. Nothing gold can stay my man. I think the commentators at the time helped solidify its awesomeness. Where are you going to find another Lord Alfred Hayes, Jesse the Body, Gorilla Monsoon, Bobby Heenan. In addition to awesome skits like this, the Snake Pit, and Pipers Pit.

  • How come we don't have cool talk shows and hosts like The Brother Love Show, The Heartbreak Hotel, and I forgot Paul Bearer's show.. I think he had one too. Beefcake had a good one too. ???

I'm not even hearing what Bret Hart is saying... I'm mesmerized by his fine looking self and those sparkling sunglasses. hehe. ;)

  • And Brets smile.Teehee hee.

  • Yes,Paul Bearer did and it was called The Funeral Parlor. Plus,Beefcake also had one called The Barber Shop.

  • "BROTHER FOUNDATION" hilarious!!

  • Only the Anvil could wear that hat and NOT look gay as hell! lol Harts 4 Life!!!

  • i looove bret's smile,his smile makes me melt.

  • orton and legacy r tha onli thing wwe has goin

  • The Hart Foundation were the Tango & Cash of professional wrestling. The were fucking cool.

  • This was a great era for tag-team wrestling. Demolition, The Rockers, The Brain Busters, The Hart Foundation, Money Inc., The Nasty Boys, The Steiner Brothers. There were many great tag-teams back then. I miss when the tag-team division meant something.

  • Seriously currently we have Priceless, Cryme Tyme, The Colons, and uh I think that is it...

  • i feel the tag division peaked in early - mid 2007 after deuce n domino came in. then they had the major brothers in wwe, and then i think things went downhill from there.

  • True that.

  • O man I miss what the tag team division used to be... these were the days. WWE have a shitty tag team division now.

  • Very shitty.

  • Thats right very sucky and worthless.

  • all they do now is just pick a couple of singles competitors and just put em together. long gone are the good ole days of real tag teams.

  • @EQgamer4life I know Eh?! I.E.: Jeri-Show or Show-Miz. Not very catching.

  • Nowadays it sucky and worthless.

  • You forgot the Hart Dynasty.

  • comment made before they debuted, dude.

  • this is when wrestling was at its best and when austin and rock were around not like the present day crap thats around were wrestlers have no mic skills and dont know how 2 work d crowd its boring as these days

  • What great mic skills from the Anvil.

TJ Wilson & DH Smith for tag champs!

  • if you would read the concept of the Hart Foundation on paper you would think "this must suck"...2 guys in Black and Pink...PINK...with Sunglasses...one technical wrestler and the other being a brawler. But when you see the pink and black attack in action you realize that they are f´n great. Bret and Jim worked soooo well together in and out of the ring and their look was so unique and cool. I always loved to watch the Hart Foundation wrestle. Boy do i miss those days...

  • jim can due some mat work if he wants to

  • to be honest, by todays WWE standards Jim would be a technical wrestler with his dropkicks, launching clotheslines, powerslams and many other moves. He for sure could wrestle, better than many of todays WWE wrestlers.

  • Hart Foundation was one of my all time favorite tag teams... I liked them better when they were with The Mouth of the South as heels..

  • God I miss brother loves bits on WWF. That was the high light for me every saturday morning and monday night.

  • Sucks that he got fired

  • Good Bye Bruce Prichard Thanx 4 the memories

  • Didn't Brother Love introduce The Undertaker to the WWF

  • yeah, brother love was the undertakers first manager in 1990.

  • Ironically, Andre died from a Heart Attack 3 years later.

  • bret's smile at 2:44 is heart melting..

  • Didn't the Harts plow through the Russians in like 10 seconds?

  • wikipedia has it down as 0:19, not much of a match but would have liked seeing Hart Foundation live no matter what!

  • The Bolsheviks were jobbers pretty much and Bret and Anvil were on their way to facing Demolition at Summerslam 90 in the 2/3 falls match.

  • i love this shows background music...

  • First signal of Demolition's heel turn...funny how they're setting this match up when both are still faces. I always thought that Demolition turned heel because Ax would have to leave and knew that the crowd wouldn't like Crush replacing him. Plus they were champs so they couldn't just leave. Maybe it was always the intention to turn Demolition heel with or without Ax. But then why have them win the belts in the first place? Hart Foundation v. Colossal Connection would have been interesting

  • haha " brother foundation " hahahahaha

  • Brother Love, WWF Hall of Fame Commentator(potential enductee). Can you feel the love Brother Fan/ Sister Fan?

  • the hart foundation with jimmy hart the best there is the best there was the best there ever will be

  • dude bret used to be my hero as a kid

  • im always amazed how people have all these old wrestling shows still on tape. And as you can see this was back before everybody had to put there logo crap at the bottom of the screen.

  • hart foundation are the greatest tag team ever

  • I wish wrestling still did things like this, was a great way to build up wrestlers plus it was ENTERTAINING

  • go brett

  • i soo want bret's sunglasses

  • is it just me or did it seem like the interview wasnt finished but the hart foundation just left early??

  • That's how you cut a promo, anyone who wants to get in to professional wrestling, and do killer promos, study the Hart Foundations videos.

  • bret and jim are the best ever.

  • Yup. I always liked jim better though. He seemed to be the best on the team at the time. At least to me.

  • Yeah Jim Niedhart was highly underrated and underused(The Who gimmick). If they had the Euro title then he'd be a perfect champ. Both of them were bad-ass!

  • I always thought Bret was the weak link of the team, not wrestling ability wise but the fact that he was the smaller of the two and whenever the Hart Foundation lost a match, it was usually Brets shoulders that were pinned to the mat. Kinda like how Marty Jannety was the weak ling in The Rockers. Somehow, someway Jannety would lose the match for them.

  • yeah i agree with you on bret being the weak link but not jennetty it was always shawn who was i mean look at the match the rockers had with the hart foundation on bret's dvd but in wrestling terms every tag team has a weak link and thats why tag matches lasted longer

  • Your "weak" link ended being the very best wrestler ever while the "strong" one ended up being a jobber and disappared forever after the team splitted up for real.

Just because he was dominated before The Anvil made the huge tag and cleaned the house between the ropes doesn't mean he was "weaker", it was the very opposite since Neidhart was vastly inferior to him in every single area of the wrestling game.

  • Clearly you don't know what JPThunder was talking about In a tag match, there is always one guy who takes the bulk of the beating in the matches and then has to tag in his partner at the climax and subsequent conclusion of the match. Bret was that guy for the Hart foundation just like the Dynamite Kid was for the British Bulldogs. It's standard Tag Team procedure. No one was talking about who was "over" or who was the better wrestler.

  • Bret Hart was cleanly THE STRONG link in The Hart Foundation, he was ultra over MORE Than Neidhart would ever be and was working the pace of the match perfectly.

  • Well, common sense says that you don't book your strongman (Neidhart) to get pinned all the time. It was Bret's role to take a pounding and then hit the Neidhart for the hot tag.

  • LOL Blubber Love

  • bro love was one of the best heels ever, surprised the low brow snot flinger fans today dont understad that...no...wait. i do understad that, they dig hornswoggle.

  • classic the foundation were 1 of the best tag teams going its a shame theres not the same effort put into the tag team championship nowadays i'm not saying the talent isn't there it just seems that the ic and tag team belts have slipped by the wayside and thats a real damn shame and an insult to all the great ic and tag team champs who paved the way

  • dam its weird not too long after this andrea the giant actually died from a heart attack

  • who the fuck is andrea the giant? you mean andre the giant?

  • yes einstein

  • bret is the best ever and 4 ever

  • brets glasses went from silver-to black to pink right?

  • Probably, Owen did use blue glasses in 1994

  • id like to see a pic of that!

  • Sorry I didn't find any.

  • there's a pic on obsessedwithwrestlingDOTcom with Bret wearing the blue glasses

  • put up the link
