cool, I like how they basically used the exact ship designs from the early games, at least where the scimitar, drayman, and dralthi are concerned....looks very retro.

Didn't this and Darkstalkers both air on the USA network? Here's a lesson: if you're going to make a cartoon series based on a video game, make sure it's based on something that the kids watching may have actually played before (I don't think a lot of kids had a $2,000 PC and Wing Commander IV)

Compared to the movie the animation and ship design were many (jump points) ahead of the live action movie. They did even try to match the game in the movie.

this is the first ive seen or heard of this and the show looks awesome if i had known about this show i would of watched it. ive been a fan of the game like many others sense the very first one came out on pc and man i felt like my heart break just when i saw this and know one even mentioned it to me that sucks. but anyways im glad u put on here captbob and do u know if they released it to dvd by chance

I got the impression there were more then 12 episodes when I first saw this show back in 2002 iirc. (its not uncommon on Dutch telly for series to just vanish mid season especially animated shows)

So I was kinda dissapointed when I found out it had only like 12 episodes.

hellcat29er is right this cartoon had so much potential its a shame it was canned after just 12 eps.

This show had so much potential given the vast WC universe and the whole Kilrathi conflict, I think it was killed off due to lack of interest though, funding may have been an issue as well, Mark Hamill, Malcolm McDowell and Tom Wilson are probably not the cheapest voice actors given their status.

I used to love this cartoon when I was younger! I used to want to be a Navy fighter pilot so badly, and this cartoon was the closest thing that showed what I wanted to be.

Never seen it but wanted to. Exo-Squad and the WC games were always fun for me as a kid...

VersVlees is unfortunately right, only a half dozen episodes have been uploaded from exo-squad. Sucks that the majority of programs like these are not on Season DVD's.
