Im not trained in Muay Thai so this might be perfect I dont know. My training is Taekwondo so im used to bring the kicking leg straight back down, or back where it came from or all the way around to the back. the point is to be prepared to fire multiple kicks without losing balance.But then again, 1 muay thai kick is enough to end it

shes very good, slow movement training like this must get difficult after not too long. all i know is that if you were unfamiliar with how to kick regardless of gender, and you made her mad, from the look of her form which is impeccible and the size of her legs, that high kick is going to hurt
doing that slowly is called active stretching. as it involves much strength just to hold the leg up there for a while. dynamic stretching where u swing the leg fast up is a completely different thing. basically if u only do dynamic stretches u will lack the power to control the movement and ur leg wants to come down so bad which can be taken advantage of
Agreed. However, on some occasions, (like if you have them backing up), swinging your arms to get extra power is fine. but you shouldn't train that way
@mmafan400 A single blow with just using your hips is extremely damaging enough, now it can be a kick or punch. The sudden twist of your hips as the legs opens up to the kick is enough.
I agree, I'm just saying it's not a big deal if you aren't threatened by any sort of counter, and it does get more power, can be a small difference. But again, you never train that way, always train with your hands up.
