it isn't gay, the person who put this scene on youtube deleted some parts and added this soundtrack to it to make you think that they are gay when actually grady is about to be killed when freddy takes over his best friend's body.

Even in the original movie, Grady seems so ambiguous. He doesn't hit on any girls, doesn't even really talk to any. When he asks Jesse if he's had sex with Lisa, he seems more interested in Jesse than in Lisa. And he always seems to be trying to get close to Jesse, and gives him many notable looks. This and the behaviour of Rick in the 4th movie were so typical of the 80's. Homosexuality was almost casual & normal... until something in the 90's brought homophobia back to the forefront.
