  • Much faster than a Cobra's strike.

  • great fighter but chinny

  • Curry's reflexes and timing were perfect in that fight. If he could've maintained that, he probably would've stayed champion for a lot longer than he did. He definitely had potential.

  • Curry was one of my favorite boxers ever. He would do this very very brief pause and then strike. It was like the pause right before a sniper shoots.

  • They didn't call him 'The Cobra' for nothing.

  • Now, that's FAST!

  • Curry was VERY technical.

  • @ihatelifejosemartine

Right you are. He was so technical, it was actually as if he was a walking txt. book of how to throw punches and guard against an attack. However, he didn't have much foot work at all ...just a stance. Still he was picture perfect in how his punches developed/were thrown. Quick and could strike just like ...a Cobra. There was great promise for him early in his career but if you roughed him up, it was possible to take him out. Still he had skill. Picture perfect skill.

  • curry was the most exciting fighter i had ever seen at this point...his control, balance ,speed were magnificent....pity it all went downhill after the honeyghan fight.

  • WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

    what a shot!

  • I knew Donald Sample Curry in Middle school.. the most easy-going dude you could know.. he's sorta like ex Texas RB Ricky Williams in his manner, and maybe some life views as well.. but sublime athletic greatness shined on him for several years.. Donald had the quickest hands ever in boxing!

  • He really was the Texas Cobra, that was the fastest knockout punch I've ever seen.

  • He was fast, but not as fast as Greg Page, Hector Camacho, or Howard Davis Jr.

  • none of the guys on your list had any k.o. power.pure speed with kayo power like curry is rare.

  • Page definitely had it.

  • Thats nothing the video don't show the next bit. McCory gets back up but he's dazed and defenceless the ref stupidly lets it go on and Curry runs in and downs McCory like a bolt of lighting with one sickening punch. He's out on the floor eyes open but seriously fucked up.

  • More like a mugging or an assault than a boxing match.

  • That knockdown punch was so quick and so clean that it looks like something you see in the movies (i.e., fake) and not in the boxing ring.

  • when i first watched this shit i could only see the left go when they showed the overhead view.

  • fantastic... but this was not the knockout punch. McCrory got up, out on his feet, and Curry finished him with a single straight right.

  • he was already gone, you dumbass! Second punch almost killed him.

  • i'm responding to this video's title. it says "Curry KOs McCrory". the video title is incorrect, as this video does not show the knockout.

  • @unputer

    Sorry Captain Precise lol

  • Mills Lane should have stopped it after the first KD. Curry decapititated him with the second

  • That was a fantastic punch...power and speed

  • That is one hell of a quick left
