2 Chronicles 30:8 is regarding the king, Hezekiah celebrating the Passover and inviting all of Israel to join him.

We pray just like the prophets did. In the bible it says "and jesus fell down on his face and prayed" "and moses fell on his face and prayed" Can you show me any better way of falling on the face and praying to God than the way we do? We fast obligatory for 29 to 30 days but that is not the limit Hope that helps.

I am a western person who has AlhamduliAllah (thank God) converted to Islam. Nobody has forced me or any convert to do so, but God has guided us to it. We believe in the same God as Moses and Jesus and most if not all prophets mentioned in the Bible. To the point that if we deny any of them as the ones who guide us to God we no longer believe in God. Only diff is we don't say that Jesus is Almighty God.

ask any Christian/Jewish who speak Arabic what they call God, do they call him Yhwh, or what, be prepared to laughet at.

@isamsb ....I have lived in the Middle East. Orthodox Christians and Jews know who YHWH ("the name"....aka "Hasham" is) btw... "allah" is not spelled the same way in Hebrew as "a god" or "the god".
To a non-Muslim Arabic speaker "allah" is just "god" in the generic sense.
Jews and Christians serve the The Most High, the Blessed One (named YHWH), the God who revealed himself (and his name) to Moses at the burning bush.

I understand where the name came from, I'm an Iraqi Chaldean, and I use the word ALLAH, to refer to GOD of course. I'm Chaldean, like you said, we speak Aramaic so we say Alaha.

@Hans021220 we pray more thn 5! but it is it obligatory to pray 5 times. But it is highly recommended to pray more than 5times aday ANd the way we pray is different from the way you do. We pray just like the prophets did. In the bible it says "and jesus fell down on his face and prayed" "and moses fell on his face and prayed" Can you show me any better way of falling on the face and praying to God than the way we do? We fast obligatory for 29 to 30 days but that is not the limit Hope that helps.

@SuperMaryam16 God never cares about the way you pray.He looks to your heart!If you stay,sit,walk,lay down on your face etc.that does not matter.What is important is that you pray with an open heart and is having a personnal relationship with God.We do not have to pray 5 times a day.We do not pray as a duty,but we pray as it is our joy!

@Hans021220 we muslims pray 5 times a day and more if we want, and for each prayer we must clean or selves perfectly before we face our Creator,so prayers keep our body and soul clean, also you must know that Prayer (salat) is the link and the special moment that connects the believer with his Lord. It enables the believer to express his adoration for God, the One Creator. It's done directly and without intermediary between man and God.

@Hans021220 The goals of prayer are numerous and in the first place it allows the believer to be in relationship with God and so close to Him. God has always commanded the believers to pray and praise Him for making it was always the practice of the Prophets (peace be upon them all).

I am a western person who has AlhamduliAllah (thank God) converted to Islam. Nobody has forced me or any convert to do so, but God has guided us to it. We believe in the same God as Moses and Jesus and most if not all prophets mentioned in the Bible. To the point that if we deny any of them as the ones who guide us to God we no longer believe in God. Only diff is we don't say that Jesus is Almighty God.
Also terrorism is just the result of ppl in war torn counties not being well educated

@BoudiccaBlanc, Christianity/Judaism are man-made religions and the words are not in the Bible. Islam means to submit to God on his terms in peace and follow his commands, therefore, all the Prophets pbut submitted to God, thus they are Muslims.

Islam is a choice not a forced into thing. Everyone has a choice to do what they want. Freedom of speech and freedom of religion. My choice is not to be one. If I don't agree with something 100 percent then I won't do it. I am married to a muslim and after 17 years I still haven't accepted his religion, let alone I don't even practise my own. There are many doubts in all religions.

We finally got an answer from a Muslim about the murder of a girl in the street by Muslims.
