  • mi mazda gtx FWD conversion vs honda integra 1.8 doch vtec 2 races once in the wet once in the dry. wet roll strt mi mazda skids past 3rd gear grabs traction 4th and gone. he asks 4 a rematch next day and i shit all over him... point being hondas aint shit unless they turbs then mad respect

  • @vuonguz that sounds about rite.... but i explained specifically a 'inline 4' meaning a piston engine not rotary.. i have major respect for the rotary engine even if ther not turbod they go hard for how big they are.. but yea all im saying is ther aint to many 'NA/STOCK' cars out there that can keep up wit hondas when it comes down to the same engine size.Japan had a competition to see who was fastest 1.6L NA.. out on top was a spoon 1.6L civic crownd king of 1.6 NA

  • Dude, With a Decat 3" straight through exhaust expect to see gains of 20-30 Bhp all on stock setup. Add a few more bolt ons and your mincing evo's and sti's.

    300 the GT-AE rally version no luxury and lighter

    200 for europe

    210 hp is wen u put good gas in it, i put in 91 octane in canada, i dont have 93 in my area and i dont have 210, 210 is with japan highm octane gas which is 100 octane, in canada u should put 95-97 octane for the altitude change to have 210 hp,

    with 91 octane here, im equal to a integra gsr stock on with street tires doing 14,9 on 1/4 miles

  • yep i believe the octane level which create different hp output...we use 100 oct as premium, 97 oct and 95 oct as standard...

  • GTR is 210hp on crank and GTX is 180hp on crank. so on wheel please do the math. B18c is only comparable with 1.6 inline 4 b6t bf GTX (also WRC Homologation) with only 147hp but higher torque than vtec. no way b18c can compete with GTR. GTR is way above it..if b18c want to compete with GTR pity to the result..

    GTR is very limited car 200 unit produce for rally 2500 sold in Japan and another 2500 sold to world wide

  • Its not just about the bhp, theres the torque, gear ratios and simply the way the familia GT-R puts its power down.

    I know this guy and that GT-R was standard.

    Once you start tuning however, it is clear to see the Familia responds more than any dohc vtec can.

  • and I do know there is more to it and the honda does have good gear ratios, in almost all forms.

    simply something wrong with the b18c if it gets pulled away from like that by a similar ouputting engine! in a similar weighing car.

    and of course a turbo engine responds better to tuning! it´s easy to turn up the boost and make lots of horsepower.

    n/a not so easy, but honda makes excellent n/a engines that has few rivals in their class!

  • The Mazda BPD is simply a better engine than the Honda B18.

    The BPD comes standard with forged internals, and was designed for competetion rally use.

    The B18 was designed for street use. However it doesnt get much better as far as small displacement N/A goes.

  • I did not say that the mazda engine was bad I know it´s a good engineered car but the video does not portray a right image. that is not a stock car (good engineering aside) it is 189hp(give or take)through 4wd that is something like 140whp and that would be similar to the b18c1 output through the 2wheels and they are probably around the same weight so the race would be kinda close, except the mazda would probably get the jump, but it would not continue to pull away like that!!!

    and a stock 189hp 4wd puts it well in 170hp 2wd dohc vtec class thank you.

  • No, 210BHP Stock. 323 GTX is more like 180 BHP, or detuned euro version maybe.

    GT-R is complete separate beast, ask any JDM GT-R ownner, put them on the rollers and you see that mazda were very 'reserved' in their power output figures.

    Also you can find that the JDM GT-R is lighter than a Honda Civic Vtec.

    I am also thinking the GT-R is a superior vehicle to the honda in that it is able to handle mutli surface terrain.

    You understand 323 GT-R is a homologation rally car, 2000 made by mazda
