  • I always go swimming at Sullivans Cove in the summer and my cousin and I always climb around the cliff where the ship had crashed into.

  • Information boards show a number of structures at the time of the settlement, but only the graves remain today. I believe there are other people buried around the site too, but the locations of their graves are unknown. The stretch between the two points of Sullivan Bay now has houses along it, and I couldn't find access down to the beach. The place that you visit is not very obvious from the road, and I'm sure many people have driven past it without knowing what it is or that it's even there.

  • So sad that we have not done a great job in preserving our very early history. thank you for showing some of what is left for us to enjoy.
