32th are not the passion. Passion and emothion is to bring new musical news to the listener. All public come visit the concert hall in order to obtain impressions.
Aside from being a talented performer, Gyan is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Its great to see how much he has developed as an artist. He was already a virtuoso when he was younger. I can't wait to hear more from him.
Huh I had never seen a video of him playing. It's interesting music but I've never quite understood Gyan. Terry Riley is one of my favourite composers and I am a classical guitarist so his guitar pieces should be extremely exciting to me but they sound so out of place with the rest of his music that I love (Harp of New Albion, Music for the 10 Voices of the 2 Prophets, and the Poppy Nogood/Reed Streams stuff.) Gyan's guitar music is definitely more interesting thanks his pop's though.
Didn´t knew this guy, by the looks and the first 41 seconds I thought this was just another chump, but then my jaw fell...amazingly propositive and exploratory, rare unorthodox tecnique, beautiful harmonic movement....
My respects...and remember not to judge a book from its cover.
He reminds me of Pat Metheny.

Wonderous technique AND a composition of pure substance.
More than wonderful.
