No you didn't read my post properly. Don't use the underground. Just walk from your house to your place of work. If the underground pisses you off then don't use it. Yes I know London very well - I gave up on the tube and ended up walking to work. It was actually quicker!! If you're only going one stop (as you said on your first post) then perhaps it might be possible for you to walk and leave the underground out of it - then you would benefit a lot - and might be a nicer person for it.
10 times a week for the last 23 years during rush hour i've done this sh1t on this awful, overpriced, filthy, unbreathable, souless underground system where you are rammed in like cattle and usually have to wait 3 trains to get on one. Watching this is like having a nightmare.
Want to go one stop single? that will be £4.
Its disgusting. Only acceptable station is on the dockland route for the rich bankers comfortable commute.
You love it really. Get yourself an Oyster card like the others are saying - I have one and I only go to London about once a month to visit family. But with auto top up and stuff you never have to see the ticket machines.
Better still why don't you walk to work if you only go one stop - if you're disabled you could wheelchair it. Get up a bit earlier and get yourself out. You'll be a better person for it. No getting crushed in rush hour. you'll be nicely awakened and refreshed when you get to work without rush hour stress bullshit. You could get a coffee and a danish on the way, and take in what is around you and become probably more inspired generally.
@sweetypie000 in hong kong: one stop: 3.5 HKD £1: HKD 12 so it would be 48 HKD which is enough for 2 tea meals here and the min. wage is HKD 28 per hour
THE A60 goes for the over take, THE LESS POWER FULL TRAIN IS IN THE LEED? O_O
come on 1996 Train Stock (has more stops). A60's going to win (has less stops :D).
NOTE: Finish line is Wembley park

To be honest The Underground System is a good service mind you it's actaully quite cheap, but the biggest rip off is National Rail Lol
