I'll tell you now that I prefer the buttons I do not button mash AT ALL. The way i see it is you can be purely surgical with the buttons.

Left jab,right cross, quick left hook going back.

These combos are much more accurate when using the buttons properly.

In FN3 I used the control figure 5. to fight.

The jab was Y,B and Hooks were A,X.

In FN4 I have no choice but the New Stick control. I find it hard to land combos with this control.
