  • He knew the truth!

  • He knew the truth!

  • @Kubrick1989 Ike was not a progressive in the "Socialist" sense of the word. Sorry, but if thats where you're going with this, you couldnt be more wrong. He would be abhorred by the current Occupy Wall Street protests. That was not the kind of man he was. Progressive? Yeah, in the sense that he believed in human progress. But not Socialism

  • Perry: No Remorse for Executing Innocent Man, Says it will deter other innocent people. Romney: I'll Reduce Corporate Tax Rate to 25%, Down from its current 0%. On 9/12/2011 11:50 PM, U.S. Has Lost $60 Billion to Waste, Fraud in Iraq, Afghanistan, School Lunch Program will be defunded to make up those losses...BACHMANN DOWNGRADED TO TROPICAL STORM

  • Its too late now, we are all fucked. We are forever doomed to a gerbil-consumer existence as the power elite continue to suck the wealth out of society. Their slimey hands will never be pryed off the control and power over society and its institutions. These incredibly evil and sub-human madmen will let the world go to hell into nuclear winter long before they let the world truly be free.

WW2 was won by fascism, they just replaced the millitary costume with a business suit.

  • DOES EVERY VIDEO HAVE TO HAVE GAY ASS BACKGROUND MUSIC!! HOLY FUCK!! IT TAKES AWAY FROM HIS SPEECH!!

  • Ike? I'd love to choose you over nearly anyone. Greatest man I will ever know, along with Ron Paul and Ronald Reagan. Heroes of America, all Conservative!

  • "If you can't solve a problem.. enlarge it !" Dwight D. Eisenhower

  • "A true American just go to show we are pioneers through good and bad times we will get through this America"

  • "A man with truth spoken in the past he is a true prophet without knowing he is a true angel he is a saint we should shape up"

  • "thunders uttering things not written down, echoes seven times, words to ears yet spoken, times through leaves so tender, one on sea, two by land, sweet as honey a bitter knowing"

  • IKE'S WORDS ECHO THROUGH HISTORY

  • if you think its just the usa that is the cause of all of the worlds woes today then your an idiot, its all governments, wake up people and realise this is all orchestrated by people who control our governments, there was a reason eisenhower said this on the way out cause he couldnt say it whilst in power! all the sheeple across the globe are running out of time to remove our corporatist global elites, starting with all our current governments

  • even the combination of all copies of this video on youtube dont exceed 1 million views, and a video of a baby biting his brother's finger recieved 100 million, its easy to see why america is what it is today.

  • @obsidianstatue Youtube is global, you moron.

  • @jethrodassam most utube users r ether americans or their lapdogs in europe. so my generalization is right.

  • @obsidianstatue I talk to many people all over the world on youtube. You're narrow minded in you're thinking.

  • stand up you fucking americans. Tell your government you dont want to be the cause of unnecessary deaths around the world.

  • He's right. It's not like he was saying anything new either, history has left us with plenty of examples of what he's saying. Now we've become just that, another example in history.

  • I believe he was elected for 3 terms and it was during the third that the law was passed limiting presidents to 8 years. He had plenty of opportunity to change things yet didn't. I also am not a fan of his, as I believe he was brutal against Germany, and could easily of prevented the execution of Jews by handling the war differently. Wars are won by the most brutal not the most righteous.

  • @012angels Eisenhower was in office January 20, 1953 – January 20, 1961. Are you talking about FDR?

  • My friend from the US told my about this video, he told me that it is not discussed in school and that no one sees it unless they search it out for themselves. He told me that the US is a two party system and that all the politicians that regularly have power are either corrupt or puppets or both. I have no direct stake in the future of your country but I guess that if you go down you will bring everyone down. Americans you have a duty to not believe everything you are told and to question.

  • Obama and Mcain are just clowns to me. John F. Kennedy at the end was the last true American president.

  • Amen.

  • I think Eisenhower would be sick if he was alive today at his party's stance on war and his country's state. The wars of Vietnam and in the Middle East is what he spoke about. General George Marshall warned us too and so did Douglass MacArthur.

  • Eisenhower and Kennedy, the last real presidents of United States of America

  • @Peter1999 reagan and nixion were not in the club thats why they tried to kill reagan with bush waiting in the wings(mr skull and bones) and set up nixion with ford waiting in the wings(the man who head up the warren commission and admitted later that he change the forensics in the report to make it more plausible to the american ppl)every now and then they cant help but let one slip in i hope the next one comes soon

  • Sadly, even with technological revolutions that allow a wealth of information to be accessed by virtually anyone within the globalized world, people choose to instead know so little and be so stupid.

  • @tubub and what is it that we know so little and are so stupid of

  • they left out the very next part where he warns us about the "scientific techological elite" the global warming nuts and Al Gore.

  • Thanks for asking me to say "more on" the subject. The military-industrial complex promotes war and Kennedy's "ask what you can do for your country" vomit was to prepare mothers to give up there sons to die-for nothing.

  • Kennedy ignored the warnings of Eisenhower. The Bay of Pigs fiasco and promising the Soviets to not attack Cuba are the legacy of Kennedy, who was in "Camelot"; a senator not a governor-leader. Eisenhower should not have turned his back on McCarthy. McCarthy was right about communist strategies.

  • @amickkm1955

Kennedy was killed before Vietnam escalated into a ground war, so if you want to be narrow-minded and partisan then blame it all on Johnson. Doing so is completely intellectually dishonest, since Johnson was following the policy of containment set years before by Truman. Eisenhower was President when American aid covered upwards of 80% of the French military effort in Indochina's cost...

  • Comment removed

  • We have gone from a country that defends freedom, to a country that SPREADS freedom.

    I'd rather spread manure

  • This speech proves President Eisenhower was warning against Vietnam involvement. Johnson would bluff the congress into supporting "a police action" with his Gulf of Tonkin ruse and the military-industrial complex grew and grew.

  • @amickkm1955 your a moron plain and simple, im not going to take the time to explain to you how because im sure it wont do any good anyway, but i just wanted you to know that you are indeed a moron

  • the last GREAT US REPUBLICAN!

  • The greatest leader America ever had was Andrew Jackson. General, lawyer, business man, killed the central bank, paid off the national debt, and an great overall man.

  • @ZDWmiamicane

---What's the murder of a few Indians?

  • marine recon : he told the truth what more do you want do you not see it happening around you ... bailouts, wars

  • @a4l619 yes but you see he reall yonly got us the interstate system and i give him credit for that he was an ok president but not a great one by any strech of the imagination

  • Such an intelligent individual.

  • TheMarineRecon Really? name like that lol try and not be so fucking bullshit obvious

  • haha my friend and he was not even that great of a general an i by your statement i don't quite follow you if you are agreeing or disagreeing

  • Name one great Ronald Reagan did for the average American? If anything Ronald was a puppet for George Bush Sr. and CIA cronies.

  • @operationD He made us feel safe in a time of great unease he also had incom tax rates drop 70% to 28% in 7 years and he decreased the unemployment rate 10.7% to 5.5% and he decreased the inflation rate from 12.5% to 4.4% so he did a hell of a lot for the average american and wow you really must be stupid majority of people both left and right will tell you reagan was a damn good president .

  • @TheMarineRecon He also tripled the national debt, financed south american death squads and sold the weapons that are currently being used to kill our own soldiers.

  • @TheMarineRecon The tax cuts from 70% to 28% were for the highest tax bracket (nothing to do with the average American). The Reagan Administration was the only one in history to never raise the minimum wage. When Reagan took office in '81 the US was the world's biggest creditor nation, when he left it was the world's biggest debtor. Reagan inherited a $700 billion deficit and turned it into a $3 trillion deficit. Insane defense spending had a big part in that (2,600+ nuclear warheads).

  • @k3w1b3an5 Look im not going to sit and argue with you believe what you want and by the way it was more than 2,600 nuclear war heads way more . I'd rather have insane spending on military defence and have it and not need it than to not spend and not have it and need it. In that situation we did need it and At least we are alive today with carter we weould be screwed bye

  • @TheMarineRecon Yea, your're right. 5 atomic bombs would completely decimate Russian, or any country on the planet for that matter, so lets build thousands of the mother fuckers. And all the while Fuck the Americans who are sick and can't afford to go to the doctor. Don't mind the facts, especially the ones I posted, just keep being the mindless, peasant , prattle of the government. You better run and hide now, Mr. Chenney said the terrorists are coming.

  • @k3w1b3an5 no no no...not one of Reagan's budgets were ever passed. The Dems added tons onto the budgets he signed.

  • Ike was right. Sadly, his party became the party of the military industrial complex. After Eisenhower, the Republican party was taken over by big oil, defense contractors and trust fund babies.

  • i beg to differ ronald reagan was a great president and greatly surpassed ike's promises and at least reagan delivered

  • fuck reagan

  • so what is the crux of IKE's point.....that the Military industrial complex was so out of hand and expanding....that even he as president could not do anything about it?

  • Eisenhower the hypocrite! Eisenhower cautious with military intervention?BWAHAHAHAHAHA

Just because he didn't announce that he overthrew the democratic leader of Iran and installed a dictator (same with Guatemala and he was about to do Bay of Pigs before he left) doesn't mean he's not an imperialist.

  • Criminal is sitting next to his partner in crime Stalin in hell.

  • INVASTIGATION SOLVED!!! ..WATCH THIS CLIP !!!!!

    watch?v=vuBo4E77ZXo&feature=re lated

  • yaknbo, you're only protecting Canada from enemies the US created. A self-fulfilling circle of logic isn't very convincing.

  • Mais non, mon vieux.

Fuck Mikhail Suslov. Any French overtures to the USSR or any commies was laughable. The Soviet Union? The Soviet JOKE.

Lenin wanted to get even with the Romanov family for hanging his brother, and he got Russia in a marche aux puces.

  • have you read the autobiography of a yogi - first published 1948 ?

  • A powerful statement. What stands at us now is if we will stop commenting on it and take heed.

  • Take heed how?

How is it not too late?

  • He spelled the shit out to the USA 50 years ago and they still fucked it up daily.

  • this is the greatest leader you ever had, you ignored his advice, your country has been a circus ever since, wake up dumbasses

  • Don't look for logic when politicians more concerned with advancing their own careers than improving their country are involved.

  • @DiZastur Trust me dude, we're not all George Bush-loving retards down here. i love my country... but i think that a few rich mother-fuckers are ruining it, and sending our soldiers to die, just to make their wallets fat.

  • @DiZastur

i find it funny that someone from Canada is trying to give America criticism. As if a Canadian would know jack shit... sorry we had the balls to secede numb nuts, and our country's done more than your piece of ice could ever have.

  • @DiZastur no our country has been taken over since the assassination of john f kennedy by the eastern airostockarcy no amount of waking up will do when we only have them to chose from they control the media the banks the police the schools and anyone that doesnt agree with them is a racist antisemite bigot terrorist and are put in prison or killed in a one car accident or get cancer all of the sudden like jack ruby(see the men who killed kennedy-the love affair with judyth vary baker)

  • @DiZastur I don't know who you are, but you are 100% correct. This man is my favorite president, he's a true American. We need more people like you in this country who actually see the type of leaders we need.

  • @DiZastur DUH! the Military rise was done for a Reason! after ww2 we had No choice but to strengthen our country, Military wise we are still the Best. many countries did the same thing. the rise of Hitler was something the world Ignored & we Paid a HUGE price for that!. world war two costed OVER a TRILLION Dollars!

    GOOGLE IT! Dumbass

  • @MetalHeart8787 Hitler wasn't ignored by some ... he was secretly sent money from Wall Street and London sources (not to mention Prescott Bush's association with this at Union Bank). I think this secret business/banking/military manufacturing with various politicians fingers in various 'profit/social control pies' (eg Cheney, etc) was happening back then too and certainly is happening today. I would add Media to the complex ... Military-Industrial-Media-Banking complex sounds abut right.

  • you're a hack lobbyist

  • International Banking + Military Industrial Complex + Evil Aliens = New World Order? Does this combination control Presidents and Popes...who in turn control us? Is this a viscious chain of command of unwilling participants who are afraid to break rank...and end up like JFK? I really don't know...but I wonder...and tremble.

  • what a shame those words were not heeded

  • hahahahaha

  • democracynow . org

  • "WE MUST NOT FAIL TO COMPREHEND ITS GRAVE IMPLICATIONS" these implications have already been realized. John McCain received millions of dollars of contributions from Northrop Grumman via the Loeffler group. These donations led to McCains involvement in a deal to remove the consideration of Boeing, a Northrup Grumman rival, from the lucrative military fuel tanker deal.

  • 50 years later, and nothing has changed. In fact, it has gotten much worse. We did NOT heed Eisenhower's warning, but instead, we shrugged him off. Not even JFK mentioned the warning in any of his speeches or the term "military-industrial complex." 10 years later, we're in Vietnam bogged down in a bullshit war, and M-I complex is the last thing on our minds. It's just like the corporate media complex, which we have failed to stop and let the FCC NOT do its job in protecting consumers.

  • Eisenhower supported intervening in Vietnam in 1965. In fact he thought winning it was more important than going to the moon.

  • Although he warned us of military industrial complex, he was your typical good ol' red blooded American and hated Communism whole heartedly. The fact is we should not have gotten involved with Nam but that was not up to the President because the only President which wanted to stay out of Nam was killed in Dallas, so obviously the decision was already made by others not the President. I agree that the moon landing was useless but compared to Vietnam is the lesser of two evils and wastes of money.

  • Our military is merely a puppet of corporate America now. We buy weapons made by non-gov't entities to supply our troops, air force, navy and marines with, but none of it was actually crafted by gov't agents. They just made decisions with regards to the conduct of the war itself. They relied on outsiders to make these weapons, which may or may not be defective sometimes. When we don't have to take responsibility and build weapons ourselves, we can be as irresponsible as possible.

  • No one should be allowed to make our weapons for us, esp. corporations that only care about money. It's time to take back our gov't and start paying fully for defense. It's time to stop relying on corporate America for it. We need to go back to self-suffiency in defense. When Congressmen fund a military budget that does not actually invest in weapons itself but mostly buys them from private hands, of course they're not gonna give a shit as much, like with Iraq. They're reckless.

  • John McCain will only further expand the military-industrial complex, and either frontrunner in the DNC will just ignore the complex, afraid they'll lose votes if they actually take on such a progressive cause of shutting it down once and for all. Only GOVERNMENT should build defense weapons, if necessary. Eisenhower did NOT want to have to rely on a bunch of giant corporations who are only in it for profit and NEED war to stay alive. He only wanted us to have as much defense as necessary.

  • Why HAVE we contracted defense to all these companies? "efficiency"? Or is the real reason just so we can save a few billion dollars by not having to build it ourselves?? Of course, that's a misnomer since we end up buying the weapons from them and pay anyway regardless. So I don't get wtf the reason is. Why CAN'T the dept. of defense and military make its own effective weapons? We did it before the cold war!!! War profiteering before this time was practically nonexistent.

  • Ike gave us "under god" in the pledge--that was a bad-me, Ike. You were lifetime military and then, at the last minute, talked "complex."

Not good, Ike. Not good at all.

  • "War is terrible...and terribly profitable."

    -Vladimir Lenin

  • "It is part of the general pattern of misguided policy that our country is now geared to an arms economy which was bred in an artificially induced psychosis of war hysteria and nurtured upon an incessant propaganda of fear."

    -Douglas MacArthur

  • MIKE GRAVEL FOR PRESIDENT

  • You got to be kidding ! This guy is a joke.

  • Nope he's going to be good president, you are just dumb democrat

  • Man, where did everyone's manners go to ?

Resorting to name calling...doesn't say much for your brain power or cognitive function.

McCain is an accident looking for a place to happen. He is totally clueless, and think the lies about Iraq are worth dying for...maybe you should go with him.

  • @orwilly4 I remember freedom.

  • amen bluto campbell, i'm so sick of these democrats, they have no idea what there talking about

  • Espically Hillary Clinton.she is so dumb

  • omg yesssssssssssssssss she is a fool. She is basically running of her husband's credibility, she seems to know very little herself. If she wasn't a clinton and a woman i doubt she'd even be in this election

  • Nope its going be between Barack Obama and John McCain.

  • yeah i meant she wouldn't even have been a nommine. your right deff it'll be those two.

  • @blutocampbell ike would vote for ron paul hands down.

  • @samm1809 yeah i like ron paul too the only thing that worries me about him is that he is a 33rd degree mason

  • Hmm. I'm thinking more along the lines of Ralph Nader. ha

  • this could be all true u never know if it is god help us all

  • "Over grown military establishments are under any form of government inauspicious to liberty, and are to be regarded as particularly hostile to republican liberty."

    -George Washington

  • thanks

  • Background music? Is this some sort of scary movie?

  • no its just to add feeling to the vid. to make it sort of sad but serious i guess.

  • watch the video again if you were listening to the background music and not the words.
