i spent weeks on the game (Fable 1) and the game was great, I never had a chance to play fable 2 or 3. This music reminds me of good times... The game makes the player dream a lot, but not only... I hated some parts of the game (cementary, ghost stories, zombies etc). In the end the game is full of little jokes and tricks to guess... I never found the dead princess near the haunted house... I spent hours trying to, even if that part is scary... it's a game OK... but it's art too!

Fable music: Outstanding , and the most artistic and beautiful pieces of musical compositions I have ever heard.

Fable II music: It was great and artistic , and some tracks had an epic feel to it.

Fable III: Terrible pieces of music, I'd rather listen to death metal. It was horrendous. The only music I enjoyed was in the quest that plays Bowerstone and Summer Fields. That's the only musical brilliance in Fable III.

I liked Fable 3 a lot, but that said, I think by going so far into the future they lost a lot of that atmosphere and something special that made the game feel like a fable. It was a good adventure, but not a fable. The steampunk feel was cool, but I miss the simple magic that the first two had. If they make another, I pray that it takes place in the past.

I think they should return to they way they did Fable 1. It seemed a lot more sinister and magical, and the focus was more on the hero. Fable 2 is overly concerned with recruiting others, and Fable 3 doesn't have the same feel at all now the king aspect is the main event.

I bought both 1 and 2 used and I bought the limited edition of the 3rd one a few days ago. I think the first Fable defines my childhood. First one was amazing, I played it over and over more than 7 times. Second one was meh, the storyline was unfulfilling. The third one, well, I've been too busy to finish that, but it's definitely interesting so far.

wow. I´m from Colombia. I like so much this theme. The Composer was very inspired. All this chords are awesome. I don´t know how is the tempo still. I think that it is a free tempo or "lento trés expresiff" but very very slow. This music makes me feel in beautiful places. really the non serious game anything without the music. For all the musicians: look at a true descriptive work.

The First Fable was such a beautiful mix of storyline, gameplay, sound, and emotion that it set the bar so high, it looks like Fable II is drowning. They changed everything, and in doing so they ruined the whole experience encorporated with the first game. The second game was no where near as much enjoyable as the first. The third better break both its predicesors in half if its anything near what lionhead can accomplish.

I just think F2 got a lot easier, to the point where the main story was too short and less strategy was involved than the first one. You could level up your magic, strength and skill so much easier it got to be boring instead of fun, however I think the music, open layout/free exploration and the sheer amount of side quests available made up for it.

@alienation69 fable 2's story was far more... 'real'. I think that the era with guns is far more exciting, the music in fable 1 was such as plaing a royal march for a pack of tramps. It was not needed. Also, fable 1 felt as though someone as telling a story to a five year old.. i mean jack of blades??? COME ON! i played fable 1 and had no idea how a sword could bring the end of albion! As for the guild... there has never been such a thing. Fable 1 seemed out of touch, i couldnt imagian it happen
