  • could you answer how you got the scope onto the gun itsself? maybe put a video up explaining it?

  • lmfao it sounded like he said "the weapon is unsafe"

  • It's not called a weapon it's a firearm just let u know

  • @bamaboy1691 every firearm is a weapon. the term weapon is an umbrella term for all manner of potentially harmful items. look up the word "shema" its kind of like a logical grouping, not trying to be an ass but what you said makes as much sense as saying " A tiger isnt a mammal, its a type of cat "

  • @bamaboy1691

All firearms are weapons, but not all weapons are firearms.

  • nice song choice!

  • how much money is the rifle itself

  • I got My 22 (same exact gun as yours) last Christmas and it hasnt not jammed yet except for bad ammo. Im not complaining just stating.

  • accutrigger animation for those interested watch?v=MKY8EUp6qJc

  • The Accutrigger Is For Safety Purposes So When You're Moving It, If You Accidentaly Hit The Trigger, It Doesnt Shoot...

  • Hey does this have the Target barrel on it? The dicks version has i think the same scope and the target barrel.

  • why do you have to show that there is nothing in the chamber and nothing in the clip/ magazine?

  • @TF0GARTY To promote firearm safety and proper handling.

  • @HazeGreyAndUnderway thanks very much i was always wondering and never understood why. It makes sense i dont know how i didnt cop it before

  • @HazeGreyAndUnderway good on you man

  • @TF0GARTY Cuz guns are a lot like power tools. They fling a small lead rock out of a metal tube faster than the speed of sound. U fuck up once and u r gone from existence forever.

  • @TF0GARTY You allways be extra safe when handling a firearm. Allways

  • where did u get the rails that fit

  • how do you disassamble the bolt once it is out?

  • if i was you id get a .270 or a 30-06... what are you gonna do with a .22? they're like target shooting... i dont know about you but i like to hunt... maybe you like to target shoot,

  • @AwesomeAlex420 What the heck are you talking about? People will always hunt with .22lr. It is super-affordable. It's perfect for Small Game: Squirrels, Rabbits, Woodchucks, Birds, Trolls, etc. People have taken Deer with .22lr in the past, but it's not recommended. .If you go target shooting with your centerfire, bring your .22 so can shoot while waiting for your centerfire to cool. I shoot the crap out of my Marlin 60.22lr which requires less cleaning intervals & stays cooler vs my .308.

  • @AwesomeAlex420 well, .22s are good for varmint hunting, and are cheap to shoot.

  • Is the rifle made of wood?

  • I bought the exact same gun and i bought a scope with rings for it but it didn't come with the base. Do you know what size or model number or make the base is? I've been looking all over for it but i can't find the answer.

  • @ObamaIsMaBabyDaddy if you look up serial number "48024 24 rifle base" it sould come up, weaver makes them

  • The Accutrigger is also a safety mechanism. The sear cannot be engaged until the Accurelease is completely depressed, helping prevent a negligent discharge if you drop or jar the weapon.

  • great vid but next time you should do it somewhere with daylight, it's a little dark i'd like to really be able to see it

  • Great Review. Thanks for taking the time to do this vid.

  • Love the your .22 LR man. I have the same one but black. But with out the scope and without the bi-pod. But I want both. Lol. Love it. Nice video.

  • what was the name and type of your bi-pod?

  • hey if you still have this gun can you make a vid of the bolt disassembly.

  • is it on safe or is it unsafe?

  • i just got that gun , i love felling like im loading an AK47 but then i have to pull the bolt back but i still love it

  • i have one of these. i wish it had iron sights too though

  • can you shoot .22 shorts out of it?

  • how much was this?

  • congrats you most likely know nothing about shooting

the "accu-trigger" does not improve anything mental wise

it does one thing TRIGGER SQUEEZE you don't pull the trigger you squeeze it

if you have a horrible breathing cycle and trigger squeeze that little piece of metal is worthless

  • I need a semi-automatic .22. Any suggestions anyone? Just send me a message or something

  • @Precip4 Remington Model 552 Speedmaster

  • lol he said after explaining that there was nothing in the gun that is was unsafe

  • Savage Arms Rifles/Shotguns Savage Arms 10 FCPXP HS Precision Rifle, 18181, Black, Scope, 308 Win, 24", 9.6 Lbs

  • Hey bud, great review! Im a 15 year old and i made a deal with my mom. If i do good in school i get a gun for my 16 birthday. Im planning to get the Savage Mark II F. I live in Joliet, just south of Chicago. And i was wondering what ammo works best in the gun? And what do you think is the maximum effective range is for the gun? Thanks bro!

  • men nice video review , im gonna buy this rifle soon, jaja red neck song rules jaja im from panama and the hunting aligator part is funny we hunt here them and we use 22lr standard rifle fucking make them chake and somethimes u can hear the bullet ricochet suuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmm is the bullet trying to penetrate the skull. fuck nice scope im gonna get more magazines 1 of thous too!!!

  • my rounds were jamming and still jam... CCI rounds are the best ive shot.

  • Whats the difference between the mark II f series and the mark II g series?

  • holy shit i youtubed amos moses (one of my favorite songs), and this came up. I just bought the mk II today... such a wierd ass coincidence.

  • how much did just the gun cost

  • Do u think that bolt action is better than semi-auto and y?

  • @ElCoyotefromTexas bolt is better when it comes to accuracy

less moving parts = less recoil

  • Nice job on the video. Good emphasis on safety. I'm thinking about picking up one of these.

  • where did you buy it?

  • mean fukn song

  • the real reason the trigger is better is because it allows the actual trigger to have a shorter pull while still being safe, the additional piece keeps the hammer from hitting the round until it is completely pushed back

  • awesome music dude!!

  • have you ever used a lakefield 64 b 22 long rifle, its very similar...savage arms bought that company from canada....????

  • hey im relatively new to hunting - sorry if this is a stupid question, but would a 3-9x32 scope work well on this rifle or is it better to go with a 4x32 fixed scope? Someone said getting a 3-9x32 is annoying because its better to get fixed magnification? What cheapish 3-9 x32 scopes would people recommend for this gun? Any help greatly appreciated!

  • @hockeyrook19 i have a 3-9 on mine and i used to have a fixed 4x on it. i like the 3-9 alot better, and i dont really hunt with mine much but i'd get a 3-9. i have cheap 50 dollar centerpoint with illumination

  • i have the same exact gun....ok, ill load a round in the chamber, decide that i dont wanna fire it. so i rack the bolt back and it dont eject the round. But! when i decide to fire a round it'll eject the round thats been fired. :/ plz feed back

  • all of u r some retarted motherfuckers picking on a 14 year old im 15 but i wish u wud pick on me cuz i wud beat ur ass

  • what song were u playing in the beging.

  • Hey. Just wonderin if this rifle comes with open sights and a scope mount. thinking of buying one. Great review, keep it up. Maybe leave out the wierd music at the start though ; )

  • cool mean, thank you

  • Why would you put a scope on a .22? It's accurate with out

  • can you do a video of you shooting at the range? or hunting? im thinking about getting one. i have a bolt gun in .22, but its a singleshot and only open sights.

  • This looks like a great rifle!

i dont know much about guns lol

  • i have a savage .22 i never had any problems with it like the other people say they have. i put the magizine in and it fire's till it down. you just got to keep it clean

  • hey i just recantly got the exact same rifle as u for my birthday savage arms mark 2 22 cal rifle it is a very good shooting rifle. i have question my trigger is kind of wobbley how can i fix this?????

  • what model is it? im getting a savage mk 2 rimfire fss .22 anyone own one or shot one i wanna know how it fires it has a accutrigger

  • Thanks for the great review!

  • I relly like this gun but I can't decied if the browning t-bolt is better and thats what I wana go with but if you can change my mind go ahead

  • Were you loading through the breach or taking out the magazine? Either way, I'm sure you had to do something wrong to make it jam up like that unless you got it used. I have a new Savage Mark II and it works just fine. It probably jams 1/1,000 rounds. I've went through about 1,000 already target shooting and I can't even remember it jamming.

  • @iVoltTV My savage has problems loading out of the magazine. Most of the time its a simple fix just push up on the magazine, but sometimes I have to pull out the mag and adjust the round.

  • @ColoradoGunNut Interesting, can you tell me what type of rounds you are using?

  • huh you said you had jamming problems with it. I got this gun and put almost 300 rounds through it in the first day and had no problems with it. I love this gun

  • LMFAO "the weapon is unsafe"

  • @jerdans He said the weapon is ON safe

  • Does any body know where to buy a front sight for this rifle? Because mine broke.

  • Would you take this over a semi auto Marlin 60?

  • I have this same gun but with black synthetic stock I use a Simmons 3*9*32 scope on mine I also had jamming problems with mine as well but it turned out to be the shells i was using I started using Remington high velocity gold tipped bullets that fixed that prob right up this is one of the best rifles ever made

  • Sandridge? I own 600 acres of land in Grand Tower. lol almost the town. this gun is on my to buy list. i can shoot either way but prefer lefty, i shot the left handed version and loved it. accurate (no scope) and reliable.

  • Its fucking Jerry Reed you tool, not techno. You seem too interested in homosexuality, go suck a cock or something and cut your shit.

  • I'm just kidding man......Do you need to use the banana clip or can you use a normal clip that doesnt extend out of the rifle that far? I don't want to look like a black person out on my farm with the banana clip look......also what bipod is that and how much did it cost?

  • @HazeGreyAndUnderway

answer my questions you son of a bitch

  • @HazeGreyAndUnderway

the fucking songs is awesome lol

dont take shit make....o and sick review im getting this gun once i get my license im aussie.

  • @HazeGreyAndUnderway LOL u said "you seem too interested in homosexuality" but you told him to "suck a cock" LOL! Stupid ass.

  • @screamineagle91 wtf are you talking about? do you know what homosexuality is? quit huffing the cleaning products, YOU'RE the stupid ass.

  • @screamineagle91 HAHA!!!

  • @HazeGreyAndUnderway thought that comment came from johnqueer and not john deere ;)

  • @JohnDeere1317 whats rong with the music faggot?

  • @JohnDeere1317 Haha you got pwnd

  • @CarCraze4 what the hell pwnd what are you trying to say you nerd

  • @JohnDeere1317 What I'm trying to say is that you insulted Jerry Reed and got you're ass kicked.

  • @CarCraze4 ya my ass got kicked........right

  • @JohnDeere1317 Damn straight.

  • @JohnDeere1317 how would you know what music they play in gay strip clubs? Hmmmm?

  • I have this rifle only with scope but i want Bipods barely got yesterday :D its Awsome!

  • its not a weapon its a rifle

  • nice rifle i maybe get it

  • nice,rifle awesome.reensmoka peace out!

  • I live up north by Chicago, I always go up to Wisconsin to hunt.

  • hehehe i live in wisconsin do you know where we can get small game such as rabbits? I live in milwakee anywhere close to there do you go my father has been wanting to go and so have i !!!

  • what do you call the legs on that gun? i'm looking forward to doing it to my savage gun but i don't know where or how to get it..

  • they r called bipods.

  • bipods

  • Amos Moses-Jerry Reed

    Nice song, boy.

  • the 22

  • i just got that same rifle and did the same stuff then i got that same bypod for my sks and it didnt fit so i just put it on the rifle

  • dude you over paid, for the bi pod.

  • dude he didnt overpay. he bough what ever he wanted.

  • good boy safety check that at least shows you are not a reatard 5 stars from me

  • Hey quick question. i just bought the savage mark II also but how do I mount a scope? It doesn't look like there is a dovetail for scope rings.

  • Hopefully your barrell has been drilled and tapped to receive some dovetails. If so, just buy dovetails. If not, take it to a gunsmith and have them drill and tap your barrell to receive the dovetail.

  • ok wtf i waz being nice and im 14 i cant speel some words big deal do you always take a crap on your veiwers

  • dude, Im not the one who commented to you, escalade616 did... and I dont agree with him

  • oh jesus so you still take spelling tests? i hated those.

  • you're supposed to grab the bolt underhand because you can move your finger back to the trigger faster for that second shot.

  • did the gun come with a place to mount the bipod?

  • yeah, swivel studs came in the rifle

  • Have you ever experienced problems with the clip...?

I just got a Savage Mako (essentially a tricked out Mark 2) and I had immediate problems loading the clip. At first I put the rounds in and they bound up and refused to feed. Essentially you would pull the bolt back and nothing would pop up to chamber. So I oiled the clip and then the thing started spraying bullets all over. I would load them in, insert it into the gun,and all 5 rounds would spray out of the clip into the open action.....?

  • get 10/22

10/22 magazine 25-30 rounds, much better rifle when you field trip you will see I am not a bull shit guy

-With 10/22 semi-Auto you can MUCH FASTER with 2nd rounds follow up for clean kill (game).

For the money smart buy get 10/22 or Marlin 60

    - I trust semi-auto more!

-And that savage look nice, I don't have any personal problems with Haze.....(too long)...Happy shooting!

  • What bipod is on that? How much

  • Hey, just wondering where you got this gun? good video

  • get er done tht music is alsome i go the same gun just with a sinthtic stock and gun lol the rest is the same

  • shut the hell up u fucking redneck piece of trash, learn how to spell too, moron.

  • Hey man, awesome vid. I just bought the gun featured (but synth model) I was a bit worried as every 4th round was jamming/not feeding. How exactly did you get your bolt running so smoothly?? Thanks mate.

  • Hello. I am considering the Savage as my first .22LR Rifle purchase. Any pros, cons, or recommendations other than those on the tape would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Sincerely, JAMES.

  • hey mate i got one last christmas. great rifle for a fisrt timer. i found on mine that the bolt was grinding when i first got it. other then that with regular cleaning it is a fine rifle

    hope this helps

  • Hi. So how did you do away with the grinding of the bolt? Did it just have to wear itself in? I am thinking of the Mossbert 802 Plinkster - 10rd mag, 4.1 lbs., 18"bbl. This one may be a good starter for me as I am in a wheelchair and I have logistics problems with long guns. Hard to carry and use. I just love my Ruger .22 pistols - If I was looking for a semi-auto, I'd say the 10-22. Thanks. Sincerely,d JAMES.

  • with the grinding. it worked out with a good cleaning oil. i also asked my local gun store. he said that this only happens will only a couple of rifles. (he also made some adjustments) and with your wheel chair. i think that going to the gun store and having a feel for the rifle would be the best option . as you can have the rifle made for you. and i like the rugers great pistol...

    pearcy

  • Take the bolt out and clean, and dip in 0W-30 engine oil (Wipe off oil before put back to your rifle)

-On the groove where u slide the bolt in, put ATF Dextron II

-Hope that can help you for just a few times shooting

    - In Vietnam, I do the same thing with SKS and AK-47......You know this reliable these rifles! and with Moisin Nagant M-44 too!

  • What the hell? I did that to show how smooth the action got... go away.

  • i have 102

  • what about recoil? and Loudness?

  • Not much consitering its a .22, and since it is a .22, and your gonna need hearing protection when you shoot it unless your using subconic.

  • whats subconic?

  • Its ammo that has a small ammount of gun powder inside it, some done have any. Anyway, they travel at lower velocities. In other words, they go slower, and make less noise. They are still leathal, they are just lower velocity.

    Hope that helped :D

If not you can also look it up on wikipeida for more info

  • recoil???? .22 how much can there be

  • i'm from australia and i ant dis gun thank for the help

    p.s. dumb yank

  • yes we should buy american made weapons there the most accurate gun

  • i said that to menochi who called americans stupid and yet he wants to buy one of our guns

  • hey dude its not for you this gun so leave it and go play with your fucking daughter

  • what? me? I dont have a daughter, Im 17.

  • is sand ridge near West Frankfort or Benton or Carbondale

  • lol i live in australia and the price just for a .22 is over $500. and u can spend under 300... WOW

  • how much did the bipod and sling cost

  • how much did you pay for yours? im looking at getting one but i thought they were around 120-150$. on their sight though however the msrp is 200+

  • The AccuTrigger is a safety device, to help prevent accidental actuation of the trigger, i.e you have to pull the trigger right on, the rifle cant be successfully pulled from the side.

  • do you know where can i get an extended mag for this rifle

  • would you recommend this rifle to a newcomer? i've been thinking about getting into rifle shooting and i have my eyes set on the savage mark. seems to have accuracy and almost no recoil.

  • If you are a student on H, J or F visa, you're ineligible to purchase arms.

If you hold a green card, conditional or non-conditional, you are eligible to do whatever the hell you want, including buying weapons.

  • thanks for clearing that up

  • just bought this today! Very Good GUN! :)

    love it!

  • hey guys, do you have to be US citizen to buy this gun?

  • I honestly don't know. If you are being naturalized, then I think no. But then again certain states have certain laws, and certain private gun shop owners will sell based on certain clauses. Call or email your state's government office and tell them your situation. They'd probably be able to tell you in a heartbeat.

  • one question...you have the same gun as me i think the scope came with it and the bolt is kind of "rough" you might say but it has like a safety feature where it goes in somewhat "steps" you bring it up stop...then you keep pulling it up and then you can pull it back...is that normal?

  • if its brand new, it'll behave like that. Take the bolt out and make sure there's no grit in there and clean the bolt and the bolt housing. Oil it well, but wipe off excess before you put it back in.

  • ok ty

  • we dont want you buying this gun if your not a citizen... or any gun for that matter

  • why not? are you prejudice ?

  • very

  • i meant i just want to have a little fun like most people do, i never thought that i would own a gun so i just want to know

  • trust me, if you eventually get one, you'll have plenty of fun :) just dont go on some idiotic rampage. The more people who support the 2nd amendment, the better.

  • dude i was just kidding around anyway im a gun man the more people with guns the better.. as long as the people that have the guns are sane and responsible.

  • i have this gun but its synthetic and i dont have the accutrigger but i like it

  • i live in bloomington and it sucks here

  • the grinding in the action u were talking about was probably leftover lapping compound from when the action was polished.

  • i have that same exact rifle, scope, bipod, sling lol!!!

  • I do prefer my scope with a main reticle & below that each reticle indicates ranges at farther distanes.Coupled with a rangefinder,it is a deadly tool! Nothing wrong with a $39 scope, thousands of game have fallen to them but better glass, better reticle systems & ability to focus at short range (parallax) usually mean more confidence and better groups. Did u ever notice how hard it is to focus the crosshairs & target simultansous at 10 to 30 yards on cheap scopes? Thats parallax.

  • Comment removed

  • Why would you make a ridiculous comment about not spending a bunch of money on a scope if it's "just a .22"? You proved how little you know about shooting. Put a parallax focus/range compensating reticle or adjustable range turret scope with good lens and shoot it for a few months and get back to me on that. Do urself a favor & google 'parallax scope' & read up on it and then compare to your $30 junk Simmons. For only $150 u can get a nice scope w all the said features.

  • dude, to me all scopes are basically the same, why get a 150 dollar scope like that when u can get simons for that price. I have a simons scope and it works just as fine as other high quality scopes i looked down.

  • Once I broke down and bought a better quality scope...mounted it, shot it, hunted with it etc...I began to realize the difference between a $39 and $149 scope. Merely looking down the scope tube is like kicking the tires of a porsche and saying they feel the same as a Ford. You do not underestimate parallax adjustment, you discount good glass and you are obviously unaware of how range finding reticles can help you become more accurate. I was too....until I bought and used one.
