  • Orange is the right colour, but to my palate carrots win, hands down, as the antidote for the shuddering, almost nauseating smell -- before you even get to the taste! Had a couple Oz's of wheatgrass in my green smoothie this morning. Drowned out by the other ingredients, liquids, H20 too, it was fine. Nice even, that depth of green.

  • I've chugged 8 oz without an orange, I love the sweet grassy flavor, it's actually one of my favorite drinks.

  • paula deen? IS THAT YOU!?

  • Wheat grass juice smells like lawn clippings. Why not juice lawn clipping too?

  • Dr Sebi says wheatgrass is a poison

  • oh really ...so ....i was poisoned too coz i love drinking wheat grass ..

  • @porkyo123 Dr Sebi is wrong. But in my experience of doctors, none of them know shit anyway. They know how to prescribe toxic drugs, some of them even know how to shove a needle in yer arm or tie a bandage, but I only started regaining my health after I stopped consulting them. This "Dr Sebi" probably thinks sodium fluoride is a nutrient...

  • haha way to be all technical about it guys!!

  • I love wheatgrass! She sure took a large dose for a non-seasoned drinker who thinks it's nasty. I bet she was ill afterwards due to detox huh? lol!

  • lol! your grandma is funny!

  • shouldn't this be called how to DRINK wheatgrass?

  • haha yeah it should but oh well. I'm not about to change it.

  • @gigglesissys I thought i was going to learn the secret to eating wheatgrass, anyone can drink the stuff it doesnt take any skill. Thanks for misleading me, jerk.

  • lol that seems like fun

  • granny is funny and also wise. You can see the wisdom in her eyes as she makes light of the taste of the wheat grass juice. You are lucky to have her.

  • I don't think Jamba uses organic wheat grass which means you are concentrating pesticides along with the juice. Also, conventionally grown veggies and grasses are almost devoid of minerals since they are grown with chemical fertilizers. Chemical fertilizers only fortifiy the soil with N K P which is what the plants need to grow and look good but dont have the minerals we need in them. And thats the point of wheatgrass!!!! getting 30-70 minerals in along with all the other good stuff.

  • Well that is very interesting. I will tell my granny. But we just thought this was funny.
