first of all i have confirmed that this is a virus so please do not run it. and second you cannot SSH photos into your photo app or music and video into the media app because of apples stupid security just about everything in your main apps has to go through itunes. God knows why they don't want developers changing their stuff, that just increases the user base.

a virus for the ipod is rare and if you haven't noticed anything weird yet nothing should happen. But if you want be sure you might want to restore your iPod. i would also recommend scanning your computer if you don't want to buy anything i would recommend Spybot Search and Destroy or malware bytes antimalware and to be safe make sure you download them from a legit site like Cnet so you don't get a virus while trying to get rid of one.

that has happened to me before and do not panic as i did it can be fixed, to make it stop the boot loop you need to first hold the power button and the home button together until the screen goes blank and it is off. bring up itunes and plug your ipod in as you hold the home button. this should boot your ipod into recovery mode if that doesnt work get back to me because it can be a pain to fix but it can be fixed.

but do not in frustration take it to an apple store if you have jailbroken it because if they fix it and discover you have jailbroken it they will void your warranty then and there. and just for your future reference if your ipod ever starts acting up make sure you have removed the jailbreak or they will not fix it.
