We will then be back to a situation where Jews and Arabs can live within the same country, in equality and peace, as they have done for hundreds of years.

The inevitable wll now happen. The current 'peace talks' will go nowhere - how on earth can 2 states be made with the settlers being so entrenched and strong? As a result of moderate Israelis being of such weak character, and not being able to stand up to their own extremists, Israel will eventually implode. The West Bank will, within 30 years, become part of Israel, hence creating an full and unsustainable aparteid situation.

@ganyuehan I have a solution for Palestine, but the American's won't like it. The Americans are going to have to stop all Israeli assistance. All the Israeli settlements in the West Bank are going to have to be abandoned. Not dismantled, just abandoned. All the walls the Israeli's have built have to come down and the Palestinians have to be allowed to defend themselves. Both side have to give up destroying the other and both sides must want peace at all cost.

Why not just let all the Palestinians emigrate to the US with generous financial incentives such as free university education for their children, guaranteed jobs, exemption from taxes for 5 years, etc.

Many Palestinians might just take the offer...sell their homes to Jews...and voila...problem solved...then israel can just completely annex the westbank!

@EdwardRommel It's a great suggestion but I don't think the American's will like the idea. 1 time I proposed the American's should give up Florida and create a separate Palestinian state there, that's roughly the area of Palestine in 1947, I think? Then there could be another Civil war in America, with all the displaced American's who would rightfully be angry that their country (or part there of) was just given to someone else and no account was taken of them at all. That sounds like JUSTICE.

@EdwardRommel I'm looking at a map of the USA right now and if Florida is 10 time size of Palestine then New Mexico (which IS near Texas) must be 100 times the size of Palestine. So the best places according to land area to set up a new Palestinian State inside the USA would be Vermont or New Jersey. But I think there might be more than 4 million people living in each of those States, so maybe the Palestinians can share? :) It's really hard to work out where to put 4 million displaced people.

Why is Palestine an Arab property? because they conquered it from someone else 700 years ago? well we (the jews) conquered it 60 years ago from them - after the Roman's took it from us more than 2000 years ago. Where does it end?

And also, I don't see why Britain's promise to the Arabs to give Palestine to them has any moral advantage over the Balfour declaration (except that it came first). The Brits had no right to "promise" this land to anyone since it wasn't theirs. And it wasn't the Arabs' either.

Let's not forget that the jews won this land by their and only their blood by fighting 5 Arab armies in Israel's independence war and several wars afterwards. This documentry implies that Britain just gave Israel to the jews on a silver plate.

To say that the Brits "gave" Israel to the jews is such an exaggeration and a distorion. Let's not forget the zionism started in the late 19th century - before the Brits came to the picture, and the zionists didn't need nor were they "encouraged" by the Brits to come to Israel. Let's not forget that in the "white paper" the Brits restricted jewish immigration to Palestine.

the documentary does fail to say why jews in palestine turned against the british. In 1939 , in the eve of the holocaust , british proibited the emigration of jews to palestine .British were not just pro Zionist as the documentary does sugest.British officers were actually the ones organizing the army of transjordan , that conquered the west bank in 1948.
