  • the 10 dislikes are the guys who bought ford Instead of dodge.

  • Id rather be cummin , then strokin, Go Dodge!!!

  • week

  • getting started would be easy but holy crap how did they stop that setup? rigs will take so much more to stop distance wise, so even with a driver in the rig applying the breaks the distance to the truck and how fast it will be able to stop is massively different.

  • wtf were did this happen exit 13 but were

  • that's cool man i don't care what you say about your favorite company. any truck that can do that is good rig in my book

  • is this in winnipeg

  • Everyone who asks if it's loaded.. Even if it's not who cares that still heavy as shit for a pickup... And @hundanth, something like a prius or something couldn't begin to pull it, even in neutral

  • was the semi empty?

  • wonder if the semi was loaded or not...

  • I once pulled a pickup almost as heavy as that truck with my Civic. Granted it was only for about 30ft to get the guy out of the turn lane, but I pulled it. I have also gotten a coworker who got stuck in sand out who was trying to turn around. It was an older, much heavier sedan.

  • Way to tilt the camera to make it look like it's going up hill.

  • that is the pilot truckstop in laredo tx .......

  • @jmecrg cant miss that one can you..lol exit 13

  • Detroit used to be gm

  • how much weight was in the trailer

  • I hate dodge

  • gm is the only company that had the balls to put theyre own diesel (detroit is a division of gm) in there trucks, the 6.2 and 6.5....the 350olds too, but that was a mess up

  • @Texassince1836 Actually Detroit is NOT a division of GM.

  • i seen a guy do this with a 6.7 cummins once...he invented the worlds first 3 peice crankshaft after 200 yards.....i think that anyone who is gonna ever do this needs a manual trans, this will burn up the first gear band on an auto trans

  • Funny thing is that just the 18 TIRES on the semi outweigh the truck pulling it...engineering is awesome isn't it? :P

  • @XionComrade Physics :F Throw her in neutral and even a Prius can pull a semi seeing if they even got her rolling

  • Looks like your only real problem was traction. I once saw a pickup pushing a tractor/trailer down the road at almost 50 mph!

  • was that fld fully loaded or empty?

  • God-damn

  • for a medium sized ute to pull a semi upwards of 30,000lbs (if empty) and anywhere around 80,000 loaded takes some doing.

  • god damn

  • I bet you didnt know when you woke up in themorning you were going to be in a truck pull ! Good Job

  • looks like the only thing you were missing was about 600 lbs of weight over your rear axle....nice pull.

  • This is why my next truck is going to be a cummins

  • @systemisdisturbed a truck cant be a cummins but it can have a cummins

  • wow this is boring

  • That takes brute force no doubt about it! I pulled an old 1957 chevy viking wrecker just had single axle but it was super heavy bed and boom and winch on it.my dodge truck is 1967 with an old wide block 318 its a hoss at pulling and hauling.I could have probably moved that 18wheeler but slowly yours walked off with wow diesel power..

  • I saw a guy do this with a Dodge truck at the Lake Havasu City exit off I-40. He pulled a loaded big rig into the Pilot station there that's on the side of a hill.

  • braaler1, no shit any truck could pull it, but i bet that gasser ford got about 3mpg the whole way and was rappin out at about 5,000 rpm. Cummins Power!

  • Hard on clutches.

  • is this utah??

  • no joke i saw about an 05 ford f-350 pull a broke down semi down a dirt raod. not a big deal right? the truck was gas!

  • that dodge just made what ever that freinght shakers got look bad.

  • what's that smell ??? OH it's my transmision

  • that is a nice truck you have what year is it? and what was the miles

  • @josh198869 Around 200k miles. It is a 1998.5

  • Comment removed

  • how the fuck can 8 people disrespect cummins power.

  • Man this truck is amazing !!! theres like absolutley no weight on the rear and it manages to pull that well !!!! great job brah !!

  • easy enough

  • why is someone else driving your truck? or you're driving and somebody else is holding your camera

  • MY BEST FRIENDS DAD HAS A DODGE RAM V10 AND HE PULLED A LOADED 18 WHEEL OUT OF A GRAVEL DRIVE WAY STUCK.HE DID IT IN 2 WHEEL DRIVE ON GRASS WITH POS TIRES.(STREET)

  • trailer was prolly empty

  • And the point is???

  • and he is pulling it up hill just to make things easier

  • Wow we now know this truckers from the hood.

  • any diesel would do this especially a power stroke

  • I like how everyones truck is better than the other. Hey use your mega cab to take the family out for ice cream and if an 18 wheeler is broke down they can see you rip it apart. 6.7's are killer, but 5.9's are still a pretty cummins common rail.

  • the 6.7 litter cummings diesel is more paowerful then the ford or chevy diesels

  • Doin' work!!!

  • That isone strong flat bed to pull a broken down 18 wheeler.

  • @bearwolfone Would have, could have. But, isn't. Keep the smack talk up, it makes you a bigger man.

  • @bearwolfone Yup it would rip it up and out of there great!, but then you would have turned around and had to rebuild the whole motor! 6.7 is and will always be the worst cummins motor out there. My friend owns one with 208 thousand miles and its been rebuilt 2 times. The second time it broke a brand new crankshaft because he hit a BUMP. You can have all the fun you want with that 6.7, but the 5.9 12v will run circle's around your truck. Mine's got 290,000 on it ( its a 93) my dads has 405,000

  • @bearwolfone The 6.7 sucks compared to the 5.9

  • powerstock and a duramax chained to each other couldin't do this only in a cummis can u do this shit

  • beastt

  • Thats a dodge for ya.

  • thats a dodge commercial still yet to be made.... nice

  • American horse power for the win!!

  • a 2 wheel drive diesel pickup, with practically No weight/flatbed on the back, pullin a semi With the trailer!!??

this is a 10 just for sheer Balls.

now thats a Dodge for ya!!

  • You could also give the truck some diesel to drive to a pump station.,..... but that wouldn''t be so impressive :D

  • I dont see any FORDs or CHEVYs pullin an 18......my bro has a 12v cummins..still runnin strong odometer died at 211k, ...8 years ago

  • the brown building on the northeast corner is tit bar

  • thats exit 33?35? on I35 north of Larado Tx

  • how the hell is "ran out of feul" become the new meaning as "broke down"? fuckin idiot

  • i do agree with you senor hamlin

  • rather be cummin than strookin!

  • @crazyviolent69 - Rather come up with an original comment than a played out saying.

  • @mixwell1983 ok...

but id still rather be cummin.

  • @crazyviolent69 - Hmm.. I can't argue with you there.. And I don't mean the engine manufacturer haha.

  • @crazyviolent69 You first have to be strookin and when that blows thats then your cummin. LOL

  • @crazyviolent69 rather be strokin then getting rammed

  • no thats what a cummins is for is showing off

  • Wouldnt it make a lot more sense to give him 5 gallons of fuel instead of using a tiny truck and messing it up trying to show off???

  • i think if you run out of fuel on a diesel it is alot of work to get it going again due to the fact the diesel helps to lube some of the parts. so if you try and crank it till the engine runs all them parts were running with out lube if im wrong sorry so dont be hating on me

  • @kevintomb IT WOULD. BUT HE ALSO BOUGHT A DODGE SO WHAT CAN WE EXPECT

  • Cummins is its own company they started out with only 18 wheeler engines then made pick up truck engines dodge just has a contract with them Powerstroke is made by international ford just has a contract with them and that contract is out this year so now ford is gonna have to make there own neither one of them own any part of the company they both just have contracts but anyway you put it CUMMINS is the best

  • 2wd is weak

  • sucks to be that tranny

  • And even if ford ever owned part or all of cummins that dosent mean ford makes the engine. Cause if they did they wouldn't be worth shit haha ford sucks dodge all the way

  • @ramhead1500 ford doesnt make the engine your right, ford owns stocks lol.. they dont understand that.. cummins is its own company.. thats why it doesnt break down lmao

  • haha love the smoke.

  • he needs to put some bricks on that flat bed for some more traction

  • Were they tryin to bump start tthat thing after she ran outa fuel? Cummins saves the day. i loved it

ford does own rights to cummins

  • @JHungerford12 not anymore. cummins became its own trademark or what ever

  • @JHungerford12 Um, no Ford doesn't own any rights to Cummins. Ford only has a contract with Cummins for their F650, & 750 chassis cab trucks. Cummins is it's own company bud.

  • wow

its not even a new one

  • i did this in a jeep commander but i pulled a 53 footer out of the mud and ice gotta love mopar.....OlllllO

  • no you didnt.

  • 20 bucks a foot! That's what I charge!

  • This is the reason why my next truck will be a Dodge 12v Cummins.

  • Excellent choice!

  • cummins is a ford engine but dodge has the rights to use it

  • WHAT THE FUCK! are you talking about son...???

Your way off, Cummings is NOT a Ford engine, they are their own company, just like DD. Ford doesn't even use Cummings in ANY of their trucks.

  • @biggestMetallicAfan you might want to check into the Ford F650 and bigger trucks my friend...

  • Yeah guess what.... those are NOT pick-up trucks, they are considered large cars.

  • The Cummins engine does NOT belong to Ford. Ford just owns (or owned) share in the company. Hell, we can all own share, in the company (if we got the money), doesn't mean we own the whole company.

  • WHAT!!!, no no no, they never owned it.

They once had like 10% of a share in which Cummins bought back later on. So now Ford has nothing to do with Cummins inc...

  • Of course, it was their share, but it doesnt matter any more, since Ford doesn't have any affiliation with the company. I just don't understand why so many people think that Cummins, is Ford's. My girlfriend went to a Ford dealership to check out cars, then the salesman and I got to talking about trucks, and he brought up the same exact thing. He thinks that Cummins engines will be in the Super Duties, after the 6.7 powerstrokes had their run!

  • Yeah i don't get it either

  • Nope. Cummins is their own company, & never was owned by Ford. Ford only uses the 6.7 Cummins in their HD F-650, & 750 series chassis cab trucks.

  • Hell yeah, only a Ram will pull an 18wheeler and trailer and up hill at the same time.

  • the real reason is on that little tag on the side of the truck--Cummins!

  • What the hell are you talking about...?????

  • thats what cummins are made for balls of motha fuck steel

  • must be emty

  • Yeah, the semi is obviously lightly loaded or empty. There's no way any pickup can pull 80,000 lbs or more.

  • @jetengine7 id say it was at least parcialy loaded or brakes where starting to set

due to low air pressure weve pulled alot more, hell my uncle pulled an empty 18wheeler 20 miles with a V6 dacota

automatic lol it didnt like it...sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do to save on the tow bill for $500 you might try it with a bycicle

  • Yeah, if you had like a 5000:1 gear reduction, the endurance of an olympian, training wheels to keep your balance, and a lot more time than cash. Then you could do it. LOL

  • @madtownmadman lol that would be a mighty big sprocket !

  • @jetengine7 No its possible. My father owns a trucking company and about a year ago he had to jump start a truck that was loaded. It was a semi with 80,000 lbs of diesel and he pulled it right along. he has a 06 duramax diesel gmc 2500hd

  • I want to get a truck so I was checking vids on youtube. Can someone tell the difference between duramax, cummins, and powerstroke.

  • A cummins engine is god in the form of steel.

Dodge, Ford, and Chevy all have their faults.

But the cummins engine is tough shit.

A Chevy though, will do fairly decent, but Chevy's strongpoint is the driveline and such.

As for Ford, from what I've seen, they have some NICE interiors.

  • It's easy

    Cummings is KING

    All the others suck ass.

  • i bet you felt bad ass

  • POWER! and thats all

  • lol the dodge was too light. should've put something in the back, but hey it got the job done.

btw how do you run one of those things out of fuel? they have huge tanks.

  • @supersnot4. 150 gallons of fuel, 10 mpg, trying to drive 1,600 miles without refueling. that's how ya do it, LOL.

The reason the truck appears light is because my attachment point was lower than where I was attached to the rig at, so, whenever I tried to pull, it lifted the back of the truck. I was ready to yank that dude pretty hard, but, I ran out of traction, lol.

  • yeah i noticed that when you connected it. little weight wouldn't have hurt but hey, where were you going to get it from lol. did you have it in 4wd or 2wd? can't tell from this video. i just remembered, too, i have a video of a dodge pulling out a stuck big rig lol.

  • why not go buy him some fuel and bleed the air out of fuel lines?

  • It's not that easy

  • @purpleflavoredcherry actually a normal over the road tractor trailer averages around 6mpg and has dual 100 gallon tanks

drivers run there fuel low when hauling heavy loads (44k+) in order to be within legal weight limits

diesel weighs about 7 pounds per gallon....200 gallons of fuel, you do the math

  • @CarlosCoy135 That's very true. The weight being another reason d OO's and Truck Lines switch to aluminum wheels, and super singles. I was trying to make the math simple. Now with the newer emissions, getting 6mpg is something to brag about....

  • @purpleflavoredcherry Ya i saw that i was thinkin damn i bet he wishes he coulda hooked that strap higher so when he pulled it put weight on the axles instead of takin it off. I just got my 08 cummins 4x4 a few months ago and ive been dying for a chance to do something like this

  • For sale. Please contact me if interested.

  • im a ford fan but that is impressive, i've seen a ford do the same too. powerstroke and cummins are kickass motors

  • dodge, chevy, ford who cares. Why didnt someone just go get some deisel for the rig. Pulling a 40 ton rig with a loose chain is very unsafe. If the chain slacked out and under the front tire it would suck that dodge right under it .

  • how do u pull something with a loose chain?

  • I dont ! Use a soild tow bar for towing on the street. Save the chain for the trails.

  • wow

  • I pull started a loaded 18 wheeler with a F350 with a 7.3 L and a 6 speed manual. This isn't that impressive

  • W/jumper cables? lol

  • Up hill?

  • see an every dodge person that sees this is gonna be like ohh dodge is the best an all that crap ... dude its the cummins motor that makes it a nice truck ... but im a ford guy so what do i kno huh ?

  • my dads 2x2 ford powerstroke 7.3 can poll that {up hill} no problem

  • dodge, best shit around.

  • arnt dodge transmissions really really bad ?

  • only the automatics in stock form. build it up and it's the best one out there. the manuals are great. if you know how to drive a stick right they will pull 30,000 pounds for a 1/4 million miles and they might need a clutch.

  • he'll blow his tranny doing that too many times, but then, hey, they are there to make money to fix it.

  • arnt is that a word

  • whos cares its the internet

  • after doing this kinda stuff maybe load rating on that truck would be around 10-15 thousand pounds that semi can weigh up to 80000lbs with a full trailer

  • yea, the tow ratings are what the truck can haul safely, they can haul more than the rating but is unsafe and bad on it.

  • and that road looks to be on a grade....Just sayin....Dodge makes it. Cummins Shakes it

  • trailer must be filled with helium.....

  • and everyone wonders why all i have is dodges in the driveway

  • amen to that

  • damn...hell yea that was cool as hell

  • we pulled a semi truck out of a ditch in the snow with our 95 Dodge.

  • I know there are a lot of Chinese in Vancouver, and as you know China makes cheap lousy products. So I suggest they hire the Chinese to make Dodge Lemons and sell it where it snows up in Canada.

  • its probably going to be called hongcouver in the future cuz the chinks are taking it over

  • LOL... Your sure that wasn't a swift truck?

  • CUMMINS POWER!!!

  • that was impressive.

  • looks like a st. bernard pulling an injured elephant

  • poor tranny :(

  • rofl hold her to the floor

  • warrantys are for poor losers who care about them and any of u ford and chevy lovers out there that are hatein on dodge ur just jealous that a dodge can do this with out a problem

  • haha, yup. im a gm guy and im jealous. i like dodge diesels. i cant believe it can pull that semi.

haha, my s10 cant pull the dodge.LOL

  • actually i saw a ford super duty do the same thing

  • Dude!! LAREDO!! I know where that was taken!! Kickass truck... gotta Dodge my self... search monster idle2... i have it under my other account "Deezvids" Its a kickass Dodge also...LOL

  • Cummins or nothing.

  • is that a 4wd? sounds like a 2wd

  • A 2wd.
