No, this takes place on a different planet. At the end, you see him take off for Earth. For all we know the creatures watching the show on the first planet ate those people, and Earth humans just got lucky, lol.

It could also mean that it's all just some big joke; a guy dressed as a jester is putting people on different planets for sh*ts and giggles, while those humans gain a sense of self-importance and worship a creator they've never seen and who uses them for entertainment value as God.

Stop motion is at least as 3d as cg. I would argue that it's more, and that cg is a simulation of 3d. Well, they both end up as 2d in the end, but i don't think 3d should be just used for computer animation.

I quite agree.

Someone asked me if I liked "3D" animation and I said: "Yes, I love 'Wallace & Gromit' for example" , and the guy just stared at me like I was nuts ..." but that's stop-motion , not 3D" . Where did 3D come to mean exclusively computer animation, but animation of real 3D objects on real 3D sets isn't considered 3D ? Long live 3D animators like Nick Hilligoss !
