Too bad traditional artists aren't nearly as open minded as 3D animators today. I loved this movie growing up, it was my first exposure to Mark Twain. It's disturbing to those who grew up with televised garbage being pumped into their heads. I grew up with Claymation and Tim Burton, and loved every minute of it.

Saying the "satan" part deserves to get the movie banned or dismissed does not follow logic. It's not as if the movie is showing Satan in a positive light, is it? If anything, it's a very Chrisitan version of a Satan who doesn't love but can only destroy. Like the Adam and Eve portion, Mark Twain was attempting to be thought provoking, not preachy. This movie should make you contemplate your own beliefs about good and evil, etc. Twain was philosopher, not preacher.

As a kid I was terrified of clay animation. I couldn't be in the same room with something playing on tv that was clay animation without crying or something. The fear was not there initially. I got over it as time went by of course, but I think I must have saw this and blocked it out of my memory because parts of it do look familar. In fact Im suspicious that this thing may actually be partailly the cause of why I was afraid of clay animation.I know its obsurd but i was a kid.
