There is someone (Dr Judy Wood) that is looking at the entire body of empirical evidence found at ground zero that must be explained in order to determine what happened. What she presents in her new book called "Where Did The Towers Go?" is not theory and it is not speculation. It is evidence. I encourage others to read it.

In 2005, I emailed a conservative blogger using disdainful language about Professor Jones, expressing that I once was a BYU student and his 'crazy' theories were hurting the university's credibility. In 2006 a co-worker had me watch Loose Change 9/11. By the end I KNEW it was true. I wept when I recalled the things I'd said and thought about Prof Jones. Second: Look up crash photos of USAir Flight 427 in September 1994. Decide for yourself if the Shanksville scene still looks uniquely suspicious after you've seen those. These aren't difficult questions to answer, but you'll need to have a look at some information that 9/11 Truthers don't want you to see.

Truthers are very good at digging out discrepancies and inconsistencies but they're terrible at judging which discrepancies actually mean something. The first is an omission of a trivial fact which wasn't even an issue at the trial; the second is an answer given 10 days after the incident which was later found to be inaccurate. They are unremarkable discrepancies. As for C130's: what are you talking about?

The name of the documentary is "Hypothesis". So the hypothesis is thermite, nano-therimite or whatever you want to call it. There is someone (Dr Judy Wood) that is looking at the entire body of empirical evidence found at ground zero that must be explained in order to determine what happened. What she presents in her new book called "Where Did The Towers Go?" is not theory and it is not speculation. It is evidence. I encourage others to read it.

@nausmr What Judy Wood presents is as far from evidence as it gets, aside from a few facts that are simply false. Jones/Harrit study is what concerns physical evidence; speculation about how this or that car was burned down is just that, speculation.
I'd suggest anyone looking up Judy Wood do a simple Google check as to whether or not what she says has any actual backing in fact. It's a simple procedure, you should do it for everything you hear anyway.

In my experience, Judy Wood has no facts going for her theories, she's often outright wrong and - most tellingly - is fully willing to falsify evidence. See: Brian Vasquez paper "Molten aluminum misinformation", for example.

In 2005, I emailed a conservative blogger using disdainful language about Professor Jones, expressing that I once was a BYU student and his 'crazy' theories were hurting the university's credibility. In 2006 a co-worker had me watch Loose Change 9/11. By the end I KNEW it was true. I wept when I recalled the things I'd said and thought about Prof Jones. Later I contacted him, confessed what I had said, and begged his forgiveness. He graciously forgave me. May God bless him and his family!

Since Jones and Harrit don't have sufficient faith in their own shoddy research to submit it to an honest and open peer review, I see no reason to waste my time with it.

The current world record holder for controlled demolition, the JL Hudson building in Detroit was 1/12th the combined sizes of WTC 1, 2 and 7 yet took a little over 2,000 pounds to bring down.

@manwello15 Magic thermite is not a military explosive. There is no record anywhere of any formulation of thermite resulting in explosive effects. Furthermore, "magic" is an appropriate designation as Jones, Harrit and various truthers have described it has having mutually contradictory properties. Like for example having the ability to shatter steel, yet causing no sound or seismic signatures (it's the complete lack of explosive seismic signatures that caused Jones to make up magic thermite).

@manwello15 2200 pounds of explosives for 23 stories gives us more than 26,000 pounds for the combined 267 stories of 1, 2 and 7. Yet Harrit and Jones are using figures dozens of times bigger than that.
Either Harrit and Jones know NOTHING about the demolition industry or have done NO research, or they are claiming that conventional explosives were the primary causes of the buildings collapses.
Which puts them back in the same hole they were in when they made up magic thermite.

They discuss how they believe the towers collapsed and the evidence they believe supports their theories. It's eleven parts but by half way through, its clear who is disregarding basic physics and speculating their way through an argument as opposed to someone utilizing the scientific method and sound physical / testimonial evidence.

@mariannamaver My comment was directed at a fellow member of the mormon church (which owns and operates BYU), but yes, President Bush did meet wityh the mormon "First Presidency" one week before Jones was turfed at the very beginning of a school year.
In addition, the LDS church hired Controlled Demolition Inc (the same company hired to clean up ground zero in NYC) to bring down the Key Bank Tower in Salt Lake City in 2007.
Basically, you can be a mormon, or a truther. But you can't do both.

@SuspiciousPatriot First: the "80 - 100 videos" is a myth. The FBI identified 85 videotapes that "might be relevant", of which only one shows the actual crash. Google "Jacqueline Maguire". Second: Look up crash photos of USAir Flight 427 in September 1994. Decide for yourself if the Shanksville scene still looks uniquely suspicious after you've seen those. These aren't difficult questions to answer, but you'll need to have a look at some information that 9/11 Truthers don't want you to see.

@Bernadotte01 The first two, AFAIK, are "no" and "true". What do you think they mean? Truthers are very good at digging out discrepancies and inconsistencies but they're terrible at judging which discrepancies actually mean something. The first is an omission of a trivial fact which wasn't even an issue at the trial; the second is an answer given 10 days after the incident which was later found to be inaccurate. They are unremarkable discrepancies. As for C130's: what are you talking about?
