Hi can I ask you a question? I've been trying to grow my hair as long as yours first was, and it now kinda reached my boobs :P but I'm wondering how long do you think it will take for me to have 'long hair'?
@ShanCoreX My hair actually grows fairly quickly and I started when it was around shoulder length. I almost never blow-dry or style my hair so it's incredibly healthy, which means I didn't need to trim it often to get rid of split ends.
Beginning to end of growing it was 4 years but for the specific purpose of donating, was 2 years. I only decided it was time to cut it when it was interfering with things like sleeping because it was wrapping around me :P

People, for crying out loud do you not read the information bar below the video? She donated her hair to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Campaign where they'll use her hair to make wigs for cancer patients. It was for an excellent cause and she simply wanted a change of style. Frankly no sadness should come from a haircut, I mean really. P.S. Shorter does not necessarily mean "merely ordinary" or vice versa. They each have their pros and cons. ...Sorry for ranting :)

@Wupperfliege I donate my hair every few years to make wigs for cancer patients. It's been short for long enough now, I'm starting over :)
