  • Umm... throwing paint and defacing property is illegal.

However, it is nice to see someone going against private businesses instead of the government. However, I don't agree with what they are saying about the war itself.

  • I can't wait to get out of Iraq and see how the good people of Iraq will live without any "Imperialist interference".

  • man this protest is way cool. we get arrested for this sort of shit in the uk these days :-(

  • This protest is meaningless. Civil disobedience in the form of refusing to finance war is meaningful, but only worth the price to a few, myself not included.

  • Tell us Timmy..how do you differ from any self blinded ignorant ideologue in any age? Hmm? Your "idealism"? There hasnt been a political disaster in history that hasnt been fueled by morons like yourself.

  • "how do you differ from any self blinded ignorant ideologue in any age?"

I could ask you the same question.

"There hasnt been a political disaster in history that hasnt been fueled by morons like yourself."

Except for the tens of millions slaughtered by the government you ironically trump as a defender of life. If you could see the sum of all bodies slaughtered by your empire, you would still feel vindicated, like the Germans and Japanese before you, and the Romans and Brits before them.

  • The clue to your insanity moron is that you cant even get the simplest facts straight.

Reading Chomsky and believing him is a sure sign of a fvcking retard.

  • I see where you're coming from but what you're saying is much easier said than done. Maybe you should stop being so judgmental?

  • this is a response to the neo-cons.You are responsible for putting Bush into power and bringing on WW3.May you watch your loved ones die painfully. You brought it upon yourselves and are making others suffer for your blind patriotism.

  • these moonbats should be rounded up and place into "reeducation"

  • "these moonbats should be rounded up and place into "reeducation""

It's difficult to believe the state indoctrination centers called "public schools" haven't done enough to appease your want for every child to worship the state. What more should they do? Refer to the president as "our dear leader"?

  • Oh the Perpetual Adolescents... playing teenage rebel is so much fun isnt it? The costumes..the outrage, the slogans. Just dont get caught in a real conversation with knowlegeable adults and you will be okay

  • "Just dont get caught in a real conversation with knowlegeable adults and you will be okay.."

You can not reason with a gun, or any who would employ force against you to finance their ends. I would not pretend to be engaging in a civil conversation with a person whose position necessitates coercion, extortion, and slaughter.

  • behind me, mostly students of a group called-- students for a democratic society.

  • I love those young people for what they're doing.

I wish everyone in the country who opposes the war had the courage and sense to join them.

  • "I love those young people for what they're doing.

It doesn't matter what you do to condemn war, so long as you pay your taxes.

  • I thought North Africa was next on the table, because Iran is already served on the plate, is this true??

cannot afford to complain nor spell, can I by

a vowel: u. scarry times lets get a chip implaint to get redistributed wealth, syke. May 12, 08 chip proposal goes infront of the Senate, I think. I now its the 12th of May, because the church channel told me so.

  • Yes, at one point, General LeMay from WWII, seriously wanted to nuke Cuba during the Cuban missile crisis. Robert Kennedy, JFK's brother, was instrumental in preventing this insanity. We don't have any people in power preventing the insanity now, can you tell? Support Mike Gravel's presidential campaign please. Troops out 120 days, stability in Middle East. National Initiative for Democracy. ni4d us. Please read, consider, vote.

  • why is it necessary for US to get rid of him. We don't do anything in any other country (Cuba, Venezuela, USSR, Kenya, China) Why Iraq? This had nothing to do with Saddam, it is over oil. Iraq was considering pricing its oil in Euros. France and Germany already contracts with Iraq to mine for oil, that's why they were against this war the whole time. The U.S. attacked to keep oil priced in dollars so other nations would be forced to keep "buying" dollars to buy oil.

  • i thought iraq is usa - it is - there aint no plans for usa to get out of iraq - except to leave it for syria and iran - its nearly fucked up enough and divided on itself now so usa can do this without being chased.

you wont be there next year coz they will simply close the area off - get ready for your biometric id cards and lockdown usa.

    nice 1

  • Nooo...by that logic John McCain rates to be part of the political debate. Get it straight. G. You know I kind of like you. Which is why I'm gonna give you an assignment. Read about the history of Cuba post Spanish-American War and learn about the Cuban Revolution and Fidel Castro. When you can come to me and tell me why Fidel is not the evil, wicked, communist, murdering, dictator that the right makes him out to be then I shall consider you 'saved' and on the road to true political wisdom.

  • These are the facts. You are 16 years old and you know absolutely SQUAT about the real world. My advice is to go back to the telly, watch some Pokemon and play with your pud. Save the political debate for people that have earned the right by virtue of their maturity and experience with real life matters. You sound like a crackpot 'young republican' Granted you speak well and are obviously not a dumbass but you need to expand your knowledge of those whom you decry just a weee bit more.

  • gulags? Oh you mean the corporate prisons that profit from the incarceration of our nations many non-violent drug "criminals" ....Tool!

  • Real heroes. People speaking out against the evils of corporate money mongers. Corporations who put money ahead of human life, honesty, morality, and decency. Men and women who are laughing at how much money that are making off AMERICANS. Thanks Real News!

  • I applaud all of those who are protesting and fighting the WAR MACHINE.

  • ron paul !!!!!

  • I respect dissidents, but this is not civil disobedience. Civil disobedience is non violent.

  • You confuse violence with vandalism. Remember the Boston Tea Party?

  • Damn Hippies... good job :-)

  • how many RP supporters showed up, since he is the only 'get out now' candidate?

    RP for PEACE NOW

  • what a shame ...nearly 400 protesters throughout the country :((( shame on you americans...more and more people all over the world think you are pathetic and hypocrite! i can see why.

  • Yea! they'll let us protest in the streets, and scream for democracy, but none of it will come. They've got us all thinking we're free and we can protest against the government, but honestly if a bunch of "hippie" college kids protest in the street, they still have no incentive to change. They get rich off of this stuff off of war and destruction so there is no real reason for them to stop. And often I ask myself, am I really living in a free country?...n the answer is no

  • The National Initiative - NI4D US

  • Sign this petition for real democracy in action!

  • 200? Is that all? Perhaps the Establishment's greatest victory is over Hope, leaving few standing with the will to fight. Five years of ignoring We The People, and the People's will has apparently been broken. THAT'S more sad than the situation in Iraq, because it means that there will be many more Iraqs.

  • I agree. Consider that there has not been a single protest that involved 10% of that city's population.

  • Let's all join together, and fight back:

    revolutionmarch. com

    June 21 - Washington D.C.

  • Sniff... can you smell a government media stunt?

  • they should get a lot of people to dress up like dead bloody troops and lay in a pile outside the doors of these companies.

  • Lets get ready to rumble.

  • Yes indeed, but have you noticed that none of this gets airplay on MSM channels? It's only sites like RealNews that get the word out. Thankfully I'm a nethead who long ago realized that the MSM has an agenda.

  • I'm so disillusioned with the govt. Solidarity to all who resist this war.
