Its more akin to mercury than water but at least you're having a go and learning in the process and for that I praise you, keep on learning Nico you'll do it.
I love the mildly intolerant/irritated attitudes of people who obviously know more on the subject and think its so obvious that they treat novices as if they are idiots. Hopefully these people will never be teachers.
If you can read this thank a teacher, they taught you "in spite of your attitude"
How did you get the particles to deflect off of the rock? I would really like to try filling a glass with water, but have no idea how to make the particles deflect of my custom object.
That looks pretty realistic for tiny water particles. Perhaps on a larger scale the metaballs could have different properties. Mayhaps we need more advanced metaballs...
lol, i don't realy like it.. but its not bad..

@JonZooHD You could check out Blender, an open-source alternative to Cinema4D, if you can't afford the latter.

To get more realistic results buy RealFlow, or try it using XPresso.

create a new MoGraph Cloner object. Use a sphere as the object to be cloned.
Apply MoDynamics to the Cloner Object (right-click and so forth). Also apply it to all other objects you want to interact with the Clones.
Finally, put the Cloner Object into a Metaball object.
:) hope it works for you now.

try using a sphere as reference for the Cloner object, apply dynamics to it and put it into the Metaballs object.

Looks really cool, but I cant get MoDynamics to work with a metaball. Got any tips?
