Thanks. The sound was a matter of trial & error. It's all about the correct angle of your recording device(camcorder), play back speakers and amp, and the volume. I also post process the sound in Pinnacle Studio+.

Overdrive comes from the dirty channel of the amp, gain 4, bass 7 contour 5, treble 9.

I adore the first three Ramones albums but later releases were always a hit and miss affair with me. The band seemed to move away from what they did best. But that's understandable - they wanted mainstream success, absolutely nothing wrong with that, although it never quite worked out for them

This song however is pure class. Another great performance from Woody, and a chance to do something slightly different to the relentless power-chording.

I agree. During the early eighties they had quite a 'dip' but later Brain Drain and Mondo Bizarro were a lot better and Adios Amigos can compete with the first 3 albums.

Thanks man,really appreciate it. The overdrive is only the Marshall with the gain set on 4. The only other 'effect' I use is a little compression via my Boss ME50 and a little reverb.

Thanks. I just played around with the ME50 and the mix of reverb, delay & chorus gave me an acceptable sound for the main riff.
