  • yes this was from Can't Stop The Music but its a video clip from the movie, in the movie this is going on while theres dialogue from the dressing room. This is the only time ive ever seen THE WHOLE SONG performed...that..she's Vera Brown

Theodosia ( Dodie) Drayer and umm.....her name was Jacqui but thats all i can remember, she is beautiful

  • If I remember correctly her name is Jacqui Smith-Lee.

  • thats her name!!!! she's gorgous but Vera Brown ( Lead singer) has my heart

  • You are so right. Vera was one fantastic lead singer.

  • made my friends sit through the movie in the theater back in 80 twice to see the Ritchie Family...Vera made me a fan of all the Ritchies...wish i could find her now

  • I also wonder what happened to the Ritchie Family.

  • what movie?

  • They were in ' Cant stop the music' the story of how the Village People got together. They were the opening act in the movie.

  • The lineup, 1979-1982:

Vera Brown, Dodie Draher, Jacqui Smith-Lee

  • rThe mosr beautiful lineup and they had the most money put into them....looked sexy for 79 the original RF did look good in those African Queen outfits but these 3 had it going on

  • i could be wrong but this looks like the cut footage from the village people film, shame luv this toon

  • I know I've said this before, but I'm going to say it again. If I was those producers, whom these ladies was singing to...They wouldn't have to tell me twice. After, I heard that first version. I got my education. I got determination. I got the imagination, come on give me a break, give it up. I would have said you got it! You don't have to tell me twice:)

  • OMG, Thank you who ever upload this video those women are HOTTT.. I LOVE THE RITCHIE FAMILY!
