No sir. The lyrics are "You're entitled to your own freedom not to take others away." The way I read that is that you are free to not deprive others of their own freedom.
The lyrics in this song say it "You're entitled to your own freedom, but not to take others' away". It's about people who immediately resort to violence and people who refuse to discuss issues.
lol please. these duds were ultra liberal, leftist dirtbags who preached their militant lifestyle and got a ton of kids to get their asses beat. even the straight edge community turned on em. nuthin like 90's hardcore= rich kids whining about how you should live and trying to save the world. im glad its dead.
@copsondonuts no offense but shut the fuck up. you have no idea what you're talking about. straight edge/vegan metalcore bands are more popular now than ever.
@copsondonuts Earth Crisis were actually right-wing leaning and anti-homosexuality, pro-family, pro-military, pro-life and represented hardline, as did most of their labels and friends. They were in direct opposition to 90's hardcore bands who told you to 'do whatever you want to'. It is true that they were bio-centrists but they were also pro-capitalist. i.e. profit is good, America is good, but don't harm the Earth. They're like the Ramones of Hardcore.
@LordAkaneon Thanks for dropping knowledge. Earth Crisis kick ass but I had no idea I disagree with literally everything they stand for. Proof that as long as a band says something, and uses their platform to convey their beliefs and tries to effect the world, good music and good art are often the result.
@HecticBRage They were one of the hardline bands that used their music as the platform and didn't give interviews like these modern bands who write generic songs and then make political statements in the news, the message is in their music, they are really cool guys who actually give a fuck, their main message was 'think about what you're doing'. Awesome band.
shits over a decade old and this is still hardcore as fuck, shame that music like this no longer exists.
and as a vegan and edger, i dont feel like im missing out on anything. have fun being drunken, wasted fatass. i couldnt care less about the environment, i did this for myself and im feeling better than i did in my carnivorous days.
vegans miss out on the best, fatty part of life: MEAT
edgers miss out on the best wasted part of life: WEED and BEER
btw: ever realised that the drug war funds more dealers and makes more new drugs and victims every year than it would do when weed was legal? think about it.
my girl is vegetarian though :p i dont care that much, and eat beef in front of her... she doesnt care either ;)
"you are entitiled to your own freedoms, not to take others' away"...what a load of shit...if these veganazis had their way, no one would be able to do anything that they didn't believe in
Hey i probably do most things that straight edge people hate, but im not a bad person. This by the way is fucking awsome stuff, good old school hardcore.
@xwaxoflifex - hey man, try to think a little bit further... if you buy beer to smash it, you are still giving out money to one of the most horrid industries in the world and part of what political straight edgers refuse... not just the drinking part, but also the funding.
All Out War isn't about straight edge..it's about people who abuse animals. Karl wrote it after visiting an abused animal shelter in Syracuse. He saw animals with broken bones, and kittens who had been sat on fire and stuff. He's declaring All Out War on apathy and animal abuse.
yeah all out war on people that make different choices. I hate people that are different then me. Straight edge people r the most narrow minded people and the funny thing is how they talk about being really open minded. 100 % of edgers i new were TRUE TILL 21
99% of the straight edge kids i grew up with are addicts/alcoholics now, either in recovery (12 step programs), still using, or dead. it's sad. sXe sorta misses the point entirely.
@shamfler fuck that Man when I turn 21 Im gonna buy a case of beer bottles and smash them as celebration and haha who isnt narrowminded its like saying all humans are not ignorant ev everyone is ignorant at something.
One of the few good things to ever come out of Syracuse.

This time I'm not going to walk away.
This time I'm not going to let you slide. I have to give you what your
thirst is for. It's not for your good, it's not for my pride.
Evil lies beyond ignorance. Aware of the truth, aware of the facts.
The strength to take the stand to stop the slaughter is what you lack.
The weakness that you can't control brings
animals death and pain.
aquamammal 2 years ago
The struggle I fought to overcome
is the dark pit where you choose to remain. This time I'm not going
to walk away. This time I'm not going to let you slide.
I have to give you what your thirst is for. It's not for your good,
it's not for my pride. Keep on with your killing,
your threats and your jokes, just brace yourself for what's in store.

Continue to flow with the close minded evil, prepare for all out war.
A dose of the hate your kind fills me with everyday.
Your entitled to your own freedom, not to take others away. All out war!
