Specifically for you, since you are wondering about boas, there's 3 things that can happen depending on where you are in the US. 1) you have to have a license no matter the size, 2) you only need one for a certain size, or 3) you don't need a license at all. Hey Brian - I am curious about your selection (and experience) with Amazon Tree Boas. I am looking for some cool morphs, (paradox, leopard, candy cane) just something other than normal garden phase. Also, have you ever dealt with tame specimens,(I've handled dozens without any consistency of good behavior) and do you have any cool morphs you've created at BHB?
We have a bunch of different colors of ATB's, some of ours are tame and others are mean as heck. We haven't really created any new morphs yet. Still working on it:) Thanks, Brian(SBtv)

I don't know the history of that animal. Most likely it was born in captivity and releasing it into the wild would mean certain death for it. A lot of captive animals can be really nervous. She just needs to get used to being around people and I'll bet that she'll be fine. Thanks, Brian(SBtv)
What about getting rid of the venom glans? Zoos are good for everything. Like they help repopulate endangered animals and give harmed animals a good home till they can fend for there selves again. They may be caged but the animals are in a worry free zone.
I can understands your point. But in a lot of cases Zoos not only educate people on wildlife, but also with SSP programs they breed animals that are on the edge of extintion. Without zoos a lot of animals wouldn't be here anymore. Wildlife parks aren't that way at all. I understand you're an animal lover, but you need to have a more open mind if you really love animals. In most zoos you just need a bachleors degree. It doesn't even have to be in zoology or anything, although I'm sure it helps. The hardest thing is that there aren't a lot of jobs open in that field. Thanks, Brian(Sbtv)
I'm not an expert on venomoid. I know some people that have had them for many years and I believe as long as the venom glands are removed properly they stay venomoid. Again, I'm not an expert, so don't take my word on it.lol Thank, Brian(Sbtv)

What about venomoid? Horrible tho the practice is, does it even work? I've heard its possible for venom to still be produced after a few years..?

I'm not an expert on venomoid. I know some people that have had them for many years and I believe as long as the venom glands are removed properly they stay venomoid. Again, I'm not an expert, so don't take my word on it.lol Thank, Brian(Sbtv)
