I for one love the new sounds. You have to evolve as time goes on. Music that doesn't evolve shows itself to be soulless--as we grow our souls evolve and change. We take on new philosophies, adapt old trains of thoughts to new insights and bits of wisdom picked up along the way. Music that originates from within MUST evolve as well. So I love what you guys do and am thankful you dig deep every time. Your fans deserve it. The music may not be great sometimes, but I'll never knock it.

I personally am intrigued by The Catalyst, but I understand that you're not. It's permissible for you to not enjoy the way they have changed, but what's not permissible is blind disrespect due to that change. A respect for the artist does not have to carry over to an appreciation of the art.
