I find it silly how experts on the conflict cannot debate it calmly. I guess it just shows the strong animocities that exist. It is a pity though that these guests couldn't talk all the time calmly and intelligently.

Hamas INTENTIONALLY launches rockets to hit civilians.

The IDF isn't perfect, but Hamas is much worse in terms of attacks against civilians and population.

Remember, sometimes intent counts more than simply body count. It's easy to look at the disparity and cry foul, but who is actually trying to kill civilians here? Not the IDF

Because I see both sides of the conflict, not just Israel killing Palestinians. I see the waves of Arab fighters trying to wipe Israel out in 1948 and again in 1967. I see the Israeli settlers buying up land in the 1920-30s. I see jealous tensions over the modernization of one state and the poverty of another. I see force where negotiations are needed.

Israel looks saintly compared to some of the things Hamas and the Arab world are responsible for.
