  • how much paint do i have to huff before this starts syncing

  • I synced it with The Wall. Man, it's incredible

  • I don't fucking get it

  • 3:01 is the best part

  • yeah of course weed makes everything ten times better.

  • I watch the wizard of oz while listening to dark side of the moon and its so incredible, and then i heard about this but I dont have a copy of Disneys Alice in Wonderland, which is weird because im obsessed with Disney, my sister probly has it....anyway i was really glad to find this on here. its crazy how well it syncs up. pink floyd and disney are truly from some other wordly creative plane.

  • @Danni3lilbirds yup...it definitely is all that and a box of cracker jacks. Used to love getting stoned and watching the whole thing. Hopefully soon i'll find the time to upload the whole thing for you guys. No promises though.

  • @Danni3lilbirds sure, or pink floyd watched alice and did it on purpose...

  • @Bilsabob Maybe....I doubt it tho

  • If i'm ever a famous musician, i'm going to write a whole album while watching a movie. And then wait until one person finds the connection and makes a youtube video about it.

  • @theMattmcdShow that is such a stoned comment! I love it :)

  • after seeing the tim burton version, i was more inclined to believe this then dark side of the rainbow. think about it, theyre the same exact story with different details. wonderland is the equivelent of a wall, seperating alice from reality when her current life was too much for her. at the end of it all they hav the same purpose, a journey of self discovery. two classics. and the red and white color schemetotally matches. mindfuck.

  • So crazy.

I understand that the entire movie syncs up with the wall dvd. Very creepy at times

  • o:36 aint that the lizard off The Great Moue Detective? 8O

  • You have to remember this is BASED of the book, not by the book.

  • sorry, correct. Not right

  • This movie is actually pretty close, not in plot, but in the characters and how they are represented. I have read the books and they are actually very similar, except the movie does not present the plot right.

  • @WormYourHonor64 so the plot is deffenrent is it. I hate it when they do that but i guess i can enjoy a good read out of this.

  • i like it but i think pink floyd's the wall syncs up to pink floyd's the wall

  • DARK SIDE OF THE RAINBOW works better

  • @MrKoiking1 tru

  • Really, the only convincing scenes are this, and the cards marching in to "run like hell"

  • please upload the entire movie

  • Isn't Dark side of the rainbow and Alice on the wall great but to me they got old i have seen so many times and have ran out of trippy things to see and notice ,,,, if you like these as much as i do then you will love dark side of nemo is a video i synced with floyds full dark side of the moon cd to the movie little nemo if you want search for dark side of nemo. TRUST ME it will not be a waste of your time its legit and perfect just wonderful you can find on veoh.

  • it was a little off on the "skies look blue" part it shoulda been when if showed her on the ground looking at the sky , when u see the sky...it woulda been trippier..BUT the rabbit hole part is great....good vid :)

  • Thumb me up if ur watching this high

  • dude, I herd "outside the wall" Very faintly so I turned up the speakers and stuck me ear close to it, then my heart literaly jumped when "In the flesh" Began.

  • The Wall & The Great Dictator syncs pretty nice too

  • amazing & lovely at the same time !

  • Pink Floyd wrote "Dogs".

  • Wow very artistic, you made it yourself? Good match!

  • I Like Turtles

  • @NoNickNoKick me 2

  • @NoNickNoKick turtle: I like zombies

  • @ballcapmusicbox, I like you

  • @NoNickNoKick I like me too

  • @ballcapmusicbox I like me too too

  • @NoNickNoKick i like you and me too too

  • is this really like a movie or whatev like darkside of the rainbow or darkside of the oz?

or did someone just make this?

was it on purpose? i'm so confused...

  • The audio and video were made seperately, then put together later, as they coincide extremely.

  • Tim Burton is amazing, but nothing he could make could possibly top a classic like this.

  • @zeeke1234 Classic?! u call this destruction of Lewis Carroll's books a classic! hav u read Alice's adventures in Wonderland or Through the Looking Glass and what Alice found ther??!! This Disney rip off CRAP is not aclassic Tim Burton's was way bettr and 10 times mor like the book if u think this is a classic u r sadly mistaken even American Mcgee's Alice was mor like the book go and actually read b4 u decide to say something as idiotic as this

  • @TheGIRROX i've read the books, dumbass. of course they're better than the movie! but i wasn't talking about the books.

  • @zeeke1234 ur the dumbass Lewis Caroll worked relly hard on those and he didn't do it to hav it destroyed by a raging anti-semite

  • @zeeke1234 be honest, Tim Burton hasn't been amazing in twenty years

  • @zeeke1234 Now I what I like to see is for Pink Floyd & Tim Burton to get together and come up with something. That, my friend, would top Picasso or Beethoven or anyone altogether.

  • @zeeke1234 Unless he did it all in clay animation like Corpse Bride and Nightmare, that would have made it 100x better.

  • Tim Burton's will probably be somewhat unsuitable for children, because it will channel the book's submerged creepiness perfectly. I will have to see it of course.

  • exactly.

  • awesome!

  • "The Thin Ice" an "Another Brick in the Wall Pt. 1" fit, but "In the Flesh" doesn't really.

  • ♥ indudablemente de las favoritas!

  • indudablemente de las favoritas!!....

  • got the wall synced up to eraserhead :)

  • that was...incredible!!

  • Comment removed

  • I hear the final cut sincronizes with dog shit.

  • are you even suggesting that pink floyd sucks?

    and its synchronizes Einstein

  • Incrible

Sincronized "The Wall" (Pink Floyd) + "the Great Dictator" (Charlie Chaplin - 1940)

    Very perfct!

    Youtube

  • Dude you've gotta try The Wall + Batman Begins, it's amazing. Bruce Wayne's father's dieing words were "IF YEA DONT EAT YER MEAT YEA CANT HAVE ANY PUDDIN!!!". Good stuff.

  • @cydwest brb trying this now

  • From 5:00 on is amazing.

  • cha totally

  • i have this on DVD its awesome

  • dude the cat at 3:15 and the baby in the song kinda go together. its not perfectly in sync but close.

  • I wonder if you put it on repeat with the live action film Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, then maybe the baby on the album would be in sync on the part where the baby in the movie is crying (the one that turns into a piggy). That would be so freaky that I'm afraid to try it.

  • i concur! hehe

  • its not the title of the song its the fact that the music syncs up with the movie...

  • wow that was freaky as hell. especially when the rabbit is "late for a very important date" and the music gets all.. intense.. god i love pink floyd.. i swear.. it could go with anything.

  • Buckethead's album "Colma" works like a charm for The Wizard of Oz. I really wish Tim Burton wasn't making this film, I respect him as a director, but I know for a fact he will bring too much quirkyness and campy feeling to the movie. Personally I think David Lynch could make it into a masterpiece, but that would never happen.

  • Well, Tim Burton, despite being a strange and dreamlike film director, normally likes his films with a bit of a dark and sinister feel to them, and normally Alice in Wonderland isn't supposed to be like that.

  • But it would be cool.

  • I also agree with your opinion of David Lynch doing an Alice in Wonderland movie, since his style would fit highly well with it.

  • Actually, As Far as I can remember from the actual book itself, I thought that It was quite dark and sinister at times. Take the poems, "The Walrus and the Carpenter" and the "Jabberwocky" for example. Also, the part where the baby turns into a pig is creepy. Wasn't the whole story really Alice's twisted dream?? Disney just sugar coated it, as per usual. I love all of Disney's masterpieces, however.

  • That's what I know think of it as well. That's what I didn't like about it, at first. I thought things like that were kind of creepy when I was a child, but now I've got used to them, that's probably why I didn't like the story much when I was young.

  • this is also why tim burton is making a creepy as fuck version.

  • exactly.

  • That's why Hot Topic teens, goths and emos like the story, because they think of it as a dark, gothic and macabre fairy tale.

  • Actully, im a HotTopic Goth and i kinda agree with you. i own the book, but i dont own the movie yet. i need to see tim burtons movie tho, it sounds really cool. i ♥ Alice In WonderLand soooo much. fav movie ever, but the book can be a little distubing at times. the baby was very weird and i didnt get it all, all that pepper?? and the movie was kinda dumb at times, like twiddle dee and dumb. dumb and dumber....

  • The book is the best book ever made. t's really interesting, cool, well written and smart. The original version is impossible without annotations.

  • lol yeah. its like english, but not.

  • I so want to see Tim Burton's! This is way better than The Wizard of Oz. And liked you username Ledzeppelinfreak, greatest band.

  • how can you not want to see it??

  • I don't know. Some stupid people out there

  • Some people don't want to see it simply because they think Tim Burton is selling out... but that's their words, not mine.

I think we should give it a chance before we just write it off though, you know?

  • Tim is my favourite director, and Alice is my favourite book. What can possibly go wrong?

  • A lot say Burton's style equals Lewis Carroll's book in every way, and I'm scared that because of this, I'm worried his version will very much overtake this 1951 Disney version as the most famous adaptation. It will be like a movie milestone when it comes out.

  • Will it be bad if his movie is better than the 1951 Disney? It'd be better IMO... Don't know about you.

  • The thing is, that people will pay attention to it if it becomes a better movie.

  • And?

  • People have a liking for things that are good.

  • Tim Burton doesn't like the cartoon!

  • I think Burton is selling out.

  • Tim's Alice will probably be like last year's biggest film, The Dark Knight, when it comes out.

  • did you honestly say that?

  • Here are a few possibilities of it:

    1. Tim Burton is widely known to be a gifted movie director and because of it, he knows how to make a great movie.

    2. Tim Burton's version is also going to be a Walt Disney Pictures film like this movie.

    3. Johnny Depp is starring in the upcoming movie, and he is one of the hottest actors in the world.

    4. Despite this movie being a classic, it's normally not appreciated by the public and even Tim Burton himself hates it.

  • Another thing I am afraid of is that Tim Burton is recently making a movie adaption of Alice in Wonderland. I'm worried that by the time he releases it in 2010, it might exceed this movie as the most popular movie adaption of Alice in Wonderland.

  • the part where she is falling down the hole is so perfect.

  • Are any of you people synchronization enthusiasts? If that is so, do you know of any classic heavy rock/metal albums that can sync to Alice in Wonderland? I'm not talking about The Wall. If not, try to make a discovery for me, and when you do, contact me in my Inbox and give me the details and instructions to do so. If not, I'll do what I said in my earlier comment, okay?

  • How can i get a dvd copy of this.

  • this is way better then dark side of the rainbow

  • Dark side of the rainbow actually meant something. Pink Floyd's songs changed the story into something completely different. This just syncs up alright.

  • I kind of don't like the fact that you can copy and paste Pink Floyd albums to movies like on a Microsoft Office document. It's not that Pink Floyd are a bad group or anything (in fact I like Pink Floyd), it's just I don't know why I don't like it. This makes me what to record an album from my band to sync to this movie as a response to Pink Floyd, but I'm afraid of one thing: accusation.

  • All great bands/people/teams face accusation in one form or another. The best way to deal with that is to be prepared and anticipate any verbal attacks that might come your way. The other thing is that you can always do a 'test run' here on YouTube and see what people think without having to face anyone directly. Good Luck to you and I hope everything goes well. If you do decide to make it, let me know b/c I would love to give you constructive criticism on it.

  • The Thin Ice sych seemed to go togther really well

  • the cats acid at 3:05 just kicked in watch him

  • okay.. was this movie intentionally relating to drugs lol

  • Well they do say it was based on an opium induced hallucination which is probably due to the Victorian obsession to using opium (heroin)to cure all manner of ills

  • what were you taking to think this syched? what are the voters taking to think this synchs!? GIMME SOME!!

  • it works especially at the flower part

  • Man that rabbit looks blazed out of his skull

  • Im sure if one takes enough hits of acid, one could sync any pink floyd album up with the C-SPAN channel...

  • lol so true!

  • I cant believe they showed us this film in Elementary School. Seemed so innocent at the time. But wow ,shrooming, pills, wtf?

  • acid is timeless ur never to old to fry

  • I wish I was still old enough to drop acid. Stupid wife and kids!

  • Dude. I'm gonna try this. This looks like another awsome Pink Floyd sync.

  • Hmm.. I wonder when is the 'Best' time to start playing The Wall when the Movie starts?

  • Once the acid hits.

  • LOOOL

  • ;D I try.

  • has anyone heard of rush 2112 syncing with charlie and the chocolate factory?

  • nope. I propose you make a sync and post it on youtube ^__^

  • ive heard of that, i saw a youtube video of it. It had its moments but its all coincodence, just like this.

  • FRICKIN TRIPPY!!! i love it!!!

this is so cool, where do u people come up with this i mean its genius

  • ....

    Did anyone hear

    "Bluuee oooh ooohh ooohh bird"

When the blue bird was on the tree.

  • Yeah this is dope..nice job on sync. Gonna have to buy alice and wonderland, light the bong and watch it all :)

Oh and weyes08, the lyrics are

    Oooooo babe.

    Oooooooo baby blue.

    Oooooo ooohh babe.

  • lol it sounds like that...but its blue oooh oooh oooh babe :D

  • This is bomb!

  • this shit's fucked top on mushroom men.

  • I would like the dvd, copy... how could I get?? would it be possible???

  • If you can find it you can get it on DVD... It comes with a booklet and stuff... Its cool

  • cool but i think dark side with the wizard oz works better

  • part 2???

  • This isn't a part 1

  • HOW COULD YOU.

  • well it works better than dark side of the rainbow but is still pretty dumb

  • dude,i'm sorry, but i've seen this synched better. maybe it was because i was ridiculously high, but shouldn't 'snapshot in the family album' happen right when she looks through the book...?

  • Your talking about a 6 second difference...To make that part sync exactly would compromise the DVD. EX: The bluebird at 4:04, Don't be surprised, when a crack in the ice" as Alice sticks finger into the water creating ripples then the lyric 'appears' the white rabbit appears. The faint yelling when the door knob (with a face) is grabbed. And the whole second segment I posted. It's only my opinion, I have been wrong before.

  • hey, isnt this a spoof of that movie i saw last week- Alice in Underpants

  • i saw this movie when i was 6 years old and now im 22 and now i can see the real movie, lets celebrate.... peace

  • As soon as she falls it starts a brick in the wall and the whole time in the backround as she falls there is a brick wall. 6:19 at the loud high strum she turns on the light

  • I love how during "The Thin Ice" When Roger sings "Baby Blue", a little blue bird flies on screen

  • It's probably more accurate just to say that Pink Floyd's music is visually palpable, instead of trying make literal connections to cartoons. Their music will synch up with just about any moving picture that is three dimensional, scenic and colorful.

  • It's true, but I can't help but enjoy some of these scenes. x)

  • Damn, i knew about Dark ide of the rainbow for a long time, but i never even heard of this. It's blowing my mind right now.

  • 3:17 she gets off the tree and the mellower stuff sets in, along with the baby noise = the cat's actions

4:47 "crack in the ice" and she touches the water creating a ripple

5:05 the rabbit runs away when it kicks in

5:54 she falls down when another brick part 1 starts, mellower music

6:25 "snapshot in the family album" she looks in a mirror (stretch?)

6:39 to 6:48 cool connections; she falls out right at the "me"

9:34 part two kicks in when she starts getting bigger

  • You forgot a few I noticed.

    1. When Alice looks up at the sky, Waters sing, "And the sky may look blue"

    2. A Blue Jay flies by the first time he says "Baby blue"

    3. Alice is carrying the cat like a baby when he says "Momma loves her baby"

    4. As soon as the rabbit apears, Waters mentions "You slip out of your depth and out of your mind"

    5. When she starts floating down the hole, you hear "Daddy's flown across the ocean"

  • The funniest thing is that naysayers are quick to reference apophenia and the fact that it would be hard to hit the needle just right on a vinyl to get it to sync up...But digital technology in the form of laserdiscs was shown to the public in 1972...dark side is released in 73...the technology was definitely available for The Wall...not to mention CompactDisc was about to be released too

  • i love this album

  • while this was incredibly fun to watch with a few bowls....wikipedia the word "apophenia", its not as significant as you think lol

  • this is also wicked to watch with white rabbit ;D

  • o_0

  • unreal i really like this!! 2 of my favorite LSD activities

  • i watched this shit on acid BEST

  • ok... so the cat noises freaked me out

  • WHOA!! watch 5:00 - 5:10

right as the guitar starts playing the rabbit runs away

    !!

  • 4:40-50 is just creepy

  • Ha ha, yeah cause they totally knew that in like 20 years or so that would become important right?

  • "Distributed by RKO pictures" hha yeah LEGENDKILLER!

  • 6:39... you can see all "the bricks in the wall"

  • omg that's ttly crazy

  • this syncs up better than the wizard of oz and dark side of the moon!

  • what if pink floyd wrote the whole album under this movie

    that would be craaaaaaazy

  • Yeah, the whole album synched to this movie is crazy. I recommend you watch it someday.

  • So how do I know if this is on my DVD version. Is it some secret bonus, or is it advertised on the box.

  • It isn't you have to synch the music yourself.

  • seriously newb

  • Damn the 6 minute mark is so trippy. Awesome

  • Really was a great movie. So trippy.

  • ...And now I want to watch Alice in Wonderland...

  • Given the audio track, did anybody else kinda expect the bluebird to explode?

  • oh heck yes!!

  • lol nice sync at 3:21-3:22

  • where can i get a dvd quality download of this

  • the internet DUH!

  • fantásticoooooooo!

  • The Wall also works with Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (the classic one)

  • Actually, Rush's 2112 album can work well with Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
