I always hear "you 'laugh' creating..." It makes more sense to me than 'left'. By leaving, she creates a lightness in his chest? Hmm, I've thought about it, but that just doesn't seem right. Assuming that the 'lightness' is a good feeling, it seems more likely that it would result from the woman laughing, not leaving.
