if it were 160-170 ft. the ferrari wouldve won hands down. dude with the sea do just did the math of 150 ft. vs how fast he can get to 50 mph... the sea doo can't maintain that speed. it can get from 0-50 faster than a honda r-12x but still can't beat it in a race.

Actually he would not have won no matter how good of a start he had. I have two RXP-X's and they are much faster than a Ferrari F430 when it comes to this distance. The RXP-X simply has a faster acceleration time than the F 430. Even if the person driving the Ferrari had been the best race car driver in the world, it still would not have beaten the RXP-X in a drag race that short.

its actually impressive for a jet ski. of course anything light like a dirt bike or snowmobile would be off the line faster than a ferrari but for a jetski to do it its alot different as their acceleration is based on water displacement not a wheel turning

Yea, while i suppose this is impressive for a jet ski, its not that unusual to find stuff faster than an F430... Take any 600cc sportbike made in the last 5 years and it'll be faster to 50 or 60 than an F430...

i dont know about that sport bikes arent that fast in a really short drag do to a really tall 1st gear sleds and big CC dirtbikes like the cr 500 R are faster to 50 mph do to low gearing a really hard bite off the line

Yea but most sport bikes are still a lot quicker than an F430. In the grand scheme of cars, an F430 isn't THAT quick (meaning there are plenty of cars out there quicker than it) The F430 does 0-60 in just under 4 seconds. Most 600cc sport bikes would do 0-60 in the low 3's, and something like a late model Yamaha R1 could probably break the 3 second barrier (just barely) Still though, thats a quick Sea-Doo!!
