I'm pretty sure I just fell in love. I have a boston named Hooch and it's amazing to see breed wide certain personality traits or characteristics that the breed shares.
@thatamazinggeek if you spend any time around dogs and still believe they're clueless, you may be the idiot. They may not fully understand contextual spoken language, but they absolutely understand simple words and phrases, inflection, tone, expressions, and gesture. They even understand and respond appropriately to simple questions: "do you want", "where is", "did you", etc. While this owner obviously doesn't expect an actual answer, I assure you they are communicating.

I had a sister and brother from the same litter, and whenever anything was destroyed we would blame the brother because he acted extremely quilty. Mocca, the sister, died while we were on our honeymoon (extreme devo!) and then all of the distruction stopped. We had been blaming the wrong dog the whole time...moral of the story,: act like it wasnt you and someone else will be blamed....
@TheSimmastar Sorry Mocca died. But that's a funny story. We always blamed our "naughty" dog for stealing food off the counters, table, etc. My nice dog was always napping in the corner, looking perfectly innocent whenever something was discovered missing. One day I happened to look down from the upstairs balcony and saw nice dog sneaking weenies off the kitchen counter. BUSTED! I thought she would just collapse of shame right there.
@thatamazinggeek You are an idiot. She is just being a loveable pet owner and showing us her dogs guilty face thats all. She isn't actually thinking the dog knows what words shes saying, she is just showing us that the dog is looking guilty for somthing she did!
My doggie loves to tear up his bed like that! I have had to sew it up again 3 times! Now I put it in his crate...He has another one that he doesn't tear up...It's what he uses in place of a mate- if you get my drift!

my boston does the same thing.... but she does it when the other dogs do "bad" things too... I've learned to tell the difference. its too funny !
