  • Very nice arrangement, lovely vocal. The saxophone solo fits quite well with this version. Thanks, for posting.

  • Superlative... thanks for uploading

  • He'll

  • Someone wrote that this song has the melody of "Robbins Nest". Sorry, but that's

not true. They have a similar melodic rhythm in a few places but they are two different melodies. Check "Robbins Nest" and you'll see.

  • To Anyone wanting to find more of Lucy Ann's music , I found a very cool site where the guy gave a very comprehensive update of newer release of her with Les Browne and others . Easiest way is Google Lucy Ann Polk , then you will see a linc to Kool Kat Korner ...go there I am still looking for her if anyone can help ! Randy Polk

  • Her beautifull voice reminds me of Beverlly Kenney, who had that sweetness too

  • Glpmusic, you are are right, of course, about Robbin's Nest. Thank you for clearing up my confusion. I'm 78 years old, still keeping the jazz faith, but I forget some things here and there but I'll never forget that Bird still lives! To hear a fine version of Robbins Nest search Youtube Robbins Nest Illinois Jacquet. Enjoy.

  • Harry I am going out of my mind because I have been looking for Lucy Ann for awhile and now you say you have a film of My dad , Vernon Polk , his brother Gordon , and Elva , and Lucy Ann. Lucy Ann still lives , as far as I know and I have everyone in the industry looking for her . I last saw her in 83 . please stay in touch . I put my email on your site cuz not allowed here . Randy Polk

  • Great! The melody is, of course 'Robbins Nest'.

  • I just discovered a 16 mm film of "The Four Polks" in the attic - a 1942 movie of a 14 year old Lucy Ann Polk with her brothers and sister, playing and singing "Miss You". I love this "soundie" but have to admit that I had never heard of Lucy Ann Polk, who also plays pretty good vibraphone in the film! Through internet I came to this video - thanks for putting it on YouTube; what a great singer she became! Is anybody still in touch with her?

  • I get to see her every so often... She is a sweet lady... my Hubby works where she lives...
