  • Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is a natural part of Earth's Atmosphere (NASA)

Carbon Dioxide (CO2) levels in the atmosphere have risen from 0.028% to 0.038% (380ppm) over the past 100 years (IPCC)

Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is not toxic until 5% (50,000ppm) concentration (Source)

Any detrimental effects of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) including chronic exposure to 3% (30,000ppm) are reversible (Source)

OSHA, NIOSH, and ACGIH occupational exposure standards are 0.5% (5,000 ppm) Carbon Dioxide (CO2)

  • @wilbert1755 The gas isnt the problem (who cares if its toxic?). The overall chemistry of our atmosphere is the problem. And in the same way CO2 toxicity starts at 5%, the impact of CO2 on climate starts above 100ppm. We have valid examples in our solar system. No need to create a catastrophe just because we are "not sure". There is a better principal: If you're not sure if somethings toxic, don't eat it. Simple as that. But we are sure that CO2 and Methane are greenhouse gases. No doubt.

  • @AlMayer1100 Poor Analogy to use the word greenhouse to describe the Earth's atmosphere since it is not even close to being like a greenhouse. Another word use by the Enviros to confuse the public.... and it obviously worked. Actually it is not "Toxic" in the real term. It is more like Asphyxiation..like Drowning in water..water is not toxic same as CO2.
