@rapnsee um, no. Stuart Sutcliffe was the bassist until he died in April of 1962. He actually stopped playing long before his death after pursuing his painterly ambitions. Pete Best was the drummer until George Martin and Brian Epstein both agreed that he would be detrimental to the group's sound. That is when they found reached out to Ringo who was playing with Rory Storm and the Hurricanes.
