this is something i got online about the movie for those who asked if they were really going to make one:As of January 25th MTV Films, Paramount and Maverick have renewed the option! This means that they have until April of 2008 to buy the rights to the story. Usually, a production company will buy the rights when they begin principle filming, which means all kinds of exciting stuff might possibly happen between now and then. Things like finished scripts and casting and picking a director!
