@nazreyes Merci avant tout à PATRICK COWLEY car c'est lui qui a pondu ce putain de son, mais ici on n'a pas la version originale qui est encore meilleure...
@nazreyes yes but Sylvester very first album came out in 1973! super obscure now. also divine was a drag performer. Sylvester from the gate was working on his path to divadom. Divine's music output in the 80s was most likely inspired by the success of Sylvester and Boy George. but Sylvester was the original!!!!
@nazreyes Divines first single called 'Boen to be Cheap'came out in 1981 his first Album was not out until 1982 called funnely enough 'My First Album' in the same yr was an Album called 'Jungle Jezebel' but there was nothing until 1984 called 'The Story So far' then there was nothing until 1988 'Maid In England there was nothing fresh after this just re-leleases and re-mixes.In contrast Sylvesters first Album came out in 1973 Sylvester and The Hot Band his first two Albums did not do well atal.
@chasserwild After 1973 Sylvester did not turn anything out then until around 1977 a gap of nearly four yrs after trying hard within the rock scene is when he came across a new style of music we all know as Disco but he was first associated with something called Hi-N-Ergy his first Album with Fantacy Records which was plainly called Sylvester he was to turn out an average of one Album a yr for the next seven yrs there was a two yr gap between 1984 and 1986.A very underated Artist
The song was actually produced by Patrick Cowley and Sylvester. Patrick Cowley was one of the first to use only synthesizers and was a genius programming them. Mind you, in those days, synths were analog, and he programmed them note by note. I suggest Lift Off from the same album as this song. It's also epic.
This song is GROOVE-A-TASTIC! It will suck you up out of your chair right onto the dance floor... What a fun play on words! LUV, LUV, LUV it! Today's clubs need to take a lesson on what "Real" dance music is.
I was one of the people who discovered this song through the film Trading Places in the scene were Eddie Murphys character has a party, and theres pimps and girls dancing with there breasts out its a hilarious scene, the song makes it 10 times better though in my opinion.Great Tune Great Film...
im not gay or look at a man in that way but sylvester fukin rocks , that is disco at its peeek a lot of now a days music has the same beat or should i say they wish they had the same beat
WOW! And you thought Disco was dead in the 80's? This is an EPIC DISCO song...that will last until the End of Time. This is better then any songs nowadays.
