The scientific community does state that evolution is known as a fact. Unless you're speaking of the very tiny percentage 0.15% of scientists (700) of the 480,000) that believe in creationism that will use "theory" when they talk of evolution to mislead and confuse the general public who dont know any better, and these "scientist" include computer scientist, mechanical engineers, etc. The 480,000 scientist working in the relevant field of earth and life say "fact of evolution".

Actually pretty much all respectable scientists agree that evolution is a fact. Evolution happens. It is no longer a theory, but a proven fact, in the same way that we know gravity exists. Thus you have the law of gravity, with theories like Newton's law of universal gravitation.

The *way* evolution happens, called 'natural selection' is the theory when it comes to evolution.

However, it is NOT "just a theory", they made notjustatheory[dot]com just for people like you.

People need to know that scientist, biologist, evolutionist, etc. no longer refer to evolution as theory it has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt that evolution is true and is now, has been and will be referred to as a "fact of evolution".

The fact and theory of evolution are two different things. The fact of evolution is that living populations change over time; the theory of evolution is an explanation of how populations change over time. A scientific theory is not a guess, it is an explanation with supporting evidence, it makes predictions and it is tested and retested. Where is fails it is modified or discarded.
