Its not even a question that MJ would've dominated in this era, he would have dominated in ANY era of the NBA. However the proof is that he played in the most competitively and talented era of the NBA 80's-90's, nuff said.

For those that watched MJ during the late 80s and early 90s, you would notice that MJ became a jump-shooter in his days with the Wizards. As a Bull, MJ was more of a slasher...like LeBron James. It's amazing to me how when he had big games as a Wizard, it was mainly on jumpshots with very few points in the paint.

He started becoming more of a jumpshooter around '93, because that's when his freakish athleticism started to fade. During the 2nd 3-peat, he was 55% jumpshooter & 45% slasher due to a decrease in athleticism, and STILL managed to consistently post 49-50% shooting seasons..

@RandomTimes08 its just being in the right place at the right time thats all..but in Horrys defense he is better then most of the guys that were on the bulls when they won titles. there was a time after 98 when Jud Buchler had 3 rings and Horry had 2 and Horry is a much better player in general.

this was my favorite game of his comeback. first time we'd seen him play since june 98, and he was awesome. but really i wish he never played for the wizards, it was weird seeing him as just good, not great. i say if he had the itch to play he should have just played the pre season, then cut from team by himself, or something. basically i wish this was the only game he played for the wizards...

this was pre-season and that is why jordan had this much energy and also he wasn't injured, i remember that somewhere around the middle of 2001-2002 season he got his knees injured and pretty much after his knees got injured he was not able to maintain this type of energy through out his 2002-2003 however he was still able to break some records, for example he is the only 40 year old to ever score more than 40 points overall jordan still played at an allstar level is just his team wasn't good

Nobody had the lethal combo of an outside shot and the ability to get to the rim like MJ. Kobe is simply a poor man's MJ.

Imagine if MJ hadn't injured his knee so bad in his comeback, he would have averaged close to 30 points at age 40, rather than in the mid 20s like he did in his time with the wizards.

Shaq is one of the greatest of all time, but at 35 and injured he only averages about 17 ppg. Jordan still averaged about 30 ppg at that age, and dropped 40 several times after turning 40

Great edit. This was MJ tuning up before his return to the game BEFORE HE HURT HIS KNEE. MJ was in even better form than this before he went down with the broken ribs. However, if not for the knee, this version of MJ was only going to get better at age 38+. ESPN predicted he would get the scoring title at age 40 if not for the knee injury. As always, unreal.

Artest said he felt like garbage after the ribs accident. He said MJ would have averaged 30 and the Wiz would have made the playoffs. Judging by this video, he was right on. I mean, the way MJ is moving here - he didn't come close to this leg-wise after the knee injury - even in his other 40 and 50 point games as a Wiz. We were robbed of something truly ridiculous but at least it happened here instead of during his prime.
