If you've taken physics, then you'll understand that a longer barrel will not increase the distance the paintball flies. If you're looking for distance increase, then try to buy a "rifled" paintball barrel or a flatline.

That being said, I prefer longer barrels still because it helps limit the left and right movement of the ball, NOT the distance.

BT-16 barrel and M-16 sight rail and it is dead on accuracy. You can actually increase the elevation on the sight so it makes it easier to longball. I dont think a scope is very smart in paintball

Hey every body,i have tryed to obtain similar mod...put the calapside stock and the barrel of my bravo one on my 98,its feel great,24oz underarm stock over soulder and classic grip of 98c,bravo one and 98c is the same... Oh and the trouble is when i put the red dot on,i cant aim with my mask( jt walmart full helmet ) because my mask is big and the rail of the gun is too low...this gun with a colapside and a longer barrel feel like a tube that u put scope direct /

That gun awful. A scope is always useless on a paintball marker. You can see farther than the gun will shoot. Also a tippmann is not consistent enough to pin point a spot. Furthermore, a double trigger is useless on a m98, because the trigger pull is too heavy to walk the trigger. Why would you want an inaccurate gun when your sniping? Use a decent marker like an empire mini, or a dp F8. They're about the same price.

sniper with a double trigger is debatably the dumbest thing I've ever heard of.. Haven't you ever heard of the "eight second rule"... for those of you at home who have no idea what I'm talking about: In paintball if you line up your shots well and never shoot more than once every eight seconds while in a concealed position the enemy cannot triangulate your position based upon sound allowing you to snipe effectively (its like rule #1 for a sniper)... meaning a double trigger is largely useless...

sniping people is possible in paintball. snipers tend to shoot as little shots as possible at a target. what you speedballers do is you continuously shoot ropes of paint at people and spend hundreds of dollars per month on quality paint only to use have of it in 5 seconds. i like to sit in a spot and pick people off, because i dont want to spend hundreds of dollars on thousands of rounds of paint. if i did, 4000 rounds would last me at least 7 months with games every couple weeks.

well i have an 18" opsgear interceptor barrel(discontinued),and its got no porting,so a little loud, but not a factor for me.i also have a red dot sight on my gun, and i think that my gun is pretty accurate.just one thing.if you buy an opsgear barrel,the inside diameter is about .689-.692 or so,you youll need large caliber paintballs like marballizer or diablo scorch or soemthing.how i make my mind of what upgrades to buy, is i go to pbreview com and read what other people have thought.

Also like what helliot123 sayd:there is no such thing as sniping in piantball. The paintball itself can only handle so much force before breaking and if your going to say that you turn up the fps on your marker more then 280, then your not playing paintball.
