  • @JustinCaparas haha woops...

  • ty I am learning this by ear. you play matching the tones and the beats well played

  • I wish so bad i could play this on a piano!! but of course, being the skill lvl i have (not very high) it's never gonna happen lol

  • perfect

  • is it a guy or a girl O_O

  • What a great job you did on this. My head is spinning. I don't know why you consider this video sad. If I could ever play this piece anywhere close to as well as you played it, I'd be in ecstasy.

  • What's your hand span?

  • really well played

  • GREAT JOB !love liszt wish I could play this...

  • piano is your best friend...fantastic!!!!

  • Wow!!

  • What a magical performance.

  • Great Job!

I realized that the key to having a good beginning for this song is to barely play the D# accompaniment. I saw you hit a few C#'s but it still sounded great.

Nonetheless, this is a great performance.

  • you have incredibly beautiful hands!

  • each time i'm playing this piece my hands becomes STIFF as a stone, TOO nervious and TOO difficult so as 3\4 of liszt pieces. he's so insane.

  • One: YOu have exteremely beautiful hands. LOl Two, wello done! I actually learnt a lot watching your vid!

  • I'm in love with her beautiful hands...LOL. She is a talented musician, really.

  • gosh! this piece is really(to the power of n) hard..... no kidding... if you wanna know how good you are with speed and accuracy, this is a great choice... wow... you're so talented! keep up the good work:D

  • OMG!! You're so talented! You do it so well .. be proud my deer !

  • Wow!!! I can't reach that fast in the middle if I learn this piece!!! Nice playing~

  • nice big hands! :D

i wished i had bigger hands like yours :P

  • AMAZINNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

  • The human brain is something beautiful; it is thinking two songs at once and matching them together physically to produce this girl's work of art - just 16 years on this earth. Yes, there is a God.

  • @sheilamaclean The brain does not think. The mind, however, is only thinking of one song, at once. She is only playing one song, not two. It is impossible for the mind to focus on two things simultaneously. There is no god, just stupid humans.

  • @Dragona060

If you were any bit intelligent, you would know that us "theists" are exactly the same as you, only actually believe in something.

  • @Dragona060 While I agree with you, please don't bring petty religious arguments into a video of someone playing the piano, and very well, I might add.

  • I love this piano piece.

  • i dunno why but when i hear the triplet part, i think italian gondola music, lol

  • Very good! Well Done!

  • a VERY HARD piece

you are very talanted! be proud of it! :)

  • Good Lord - am dumbstruck. Could anyone have made a more difficult piece and this girl plays it like she was born for it. Well done indeed very talented girl - what a treat to have someone like you at home!

  • An excellent job! well done!

  • respect!!! very very difficult piece! well done!

  • your playing astounding! Please give youtube with more of your playing. Perhaps your injury was caused by a wrong finger technique on a particular passage. It's easy to injure with the rhapsodies. Randy

  • i like your plunky pluck technique:) its nice for this piece

  • this is quite amazing, almost breathtakingly spectacular. It made me stare non-stop at your hands working like maniacs racing eachother to their different keys to put together this wonderful piece. Quite admirable

  • respect

  • the hand technique is difficult

  • Liszt is the man. Huge hands and huge nose. Very vain like me. Very good job by the way!

  • i can do that....i just don't want to

  • Yeah I know what you mean thprfssm. I know I can fly like a bird....but I've not had the time to do so and have been too lazy. But I know I can!!!

  • this may not be the tempo that I'm used to hearing, but the deliberateness is really quite enjoyable! Brava!

  • Bravo!,, Very brave also putting the camera so close. Way cool.

  • quite a good job haha just a few minute errors but great! super hard haha but... touhou is harder! well only a few...

  • I LOVE this piece! I think I'll learn it...but it's quite hard!

  • is it possible for this to be played faster?

  • i think i have died of amazement....EXCELLENT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • omfg.. this is crazy .. and i thought i was good for moonlight sonata ..

  • Good job. It's always a worthwhile learning experience pushing yourself to learn a piece that is just a touch out of your league when you start learning it and have it come together after countless hours of practice. And this piece is among the toughest. Keep it up.

  • This is Just O.O WOW!! You're fkn amazing men .. Respect

  • amazing

  • great job!!!!

  • 4:43 just making a mark for myself....

  • Mazel Tov!

  • il suono del'ultima ottava di sto pianoforte mi piace troppo...

    comunque bravo o brava ...bobo....

  • u did a good job

but i think the sound of the piano isnt too good.

    nice! ;D

  • Yes you did skip a chord, but I wouldn't have noticed anyways.

    That was wonderful.

  • amazing, well done

  • Holy cow. Excellent playing!

  • LOL.. there are only a handful of people on the planet that would have known you skipped a chord.

    most are dead.

    great job.....

  • Lizt isn't very happy for this... good technic, but you have chosen a piece that is one of the hardest to play perfectly.. But you're a good pianist, no doubt!

  • Amazing!

  • Haha..."yes, I did skip a chord here"...like anybody even noticed. That was awesome.

  • Your hands aren't awkwardly masculine at all.

  • This piece is the best. In order to play Liszts music, you must have formidable technique as a pianist in which you have. good job! play faster plz! :)

  • You play wonderfully, and I I wish that one day I can play half as good as you play. This seems to be a very hard piece but well worth the effort, specially at the end. 5 stars, I look forward to see more of your videos.

  • lol!

    LimeGirl

i wonder what u taste like?

  • awsome!! :)

  • this is good, keep up the good work ;)

  • My favourite part is from 3:12

    best 20 seconds ever :)

    Keep it up mate

  • I'm learning this right now... it's a total bitch, this version isn't perfect, but you still have to be really good to play this...

  • loool sorry i thought he was a guy so i got upset with his "girlish" hands, and now i know that she is a girl, anyway her hands dont seem to be a girls', their like a mixture. no offense BTW.

  • If you're so good you try playing it. And if you like something as pathetic as heavy metal you're more of an idiot than any of us.

  • Hey unlike you I at least have a mum. Heavy metal - like all the other types of modern music is plain and unsophisticated compared to classical music. All Famous classical composers are geniuses if not at least close to genius. I mean even Britney Spears can write songs these days and we all know how much of an idiot she is. People with unsophisticated minds like yours shouldn't be listening and playing let alone criticizing someone on how to play Liszt. You are degrading the music when you play.

  • Its really pointless to throw arguments at me when you can't back them up. "i have a mom also, and shes very intelligent kind and pretty" thats something you would normally say to a boyfriend or girlfriend. Incest?

  • modern music may not be as sophisticated as classical music, but that doesn't mean that it's any less spectacular. Heavy Metal is not "Pathetic", it's just a genre of music you apparently have no appreciation for, just like unfortunately, most heavy metal fans would have no appreciation for classical music. I don't listen to heavy Metal, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's bad. Music shouldn't exist without diversity, because music is plain without diversity.

  • Without classical there wouldn't be Heavy metal. Classical was written by geniuses while metal could be written by anyone. Its a matter of opinion which is more spectacular.

  • well yeah, I'm well aware of what you said; classical did pave the way for music today; however, you're making a shallow judgment on which you shouldn't be making to a genre of music that you apparently don't listen to. a composer is a composer, whether it's on the piano or in a recording studio. my point is that there is no such thing as music that is easily composed; there is such thing as music that is easily played. those are 2 different things.

  • Ever asked yourself why classical is dying? Its because Modern music is so much easier to listen to (you actually can hear a clear melody. try singing the Fantasie Impromptu), so much easier to play (all you need is a sheet of paper with chords on it) and so much easier to sing to (not every one can sing opera). Its Simple.

  • It is just as hard man. I know the Juilliard school. it's one of the school's I'm working up to audition for. I know that music has changed and things in music have become simple, but it's not necessarily all bad... It is what it is; for the history of music, it is in its infantile stages. Classical music today is dying, but the genres of music that exist today won't last forever either, at least in my opinion.

  • I feel like as long as man exists, music will, and as man continues to evolve and change, so will music.

  • music like this will never die, masters like chopin and liszt will live on forever and ever!

  • I don't even think, classical is dying. It's just the same with movies, actionfilms are for the great public and there are other movies for the more sophisticated audience. I agree, modern music isn't that 'complicated' (in opposing to the easyness you mentioned), but that brings it closer to the average listener. Which is a good thing.

Btw it's not Franz Liszt, it's Ferenc Liszt, since he was Hungarian. But that's not for you, I'm sure you knew, but for others, who possibly don't know this fact.

  • classical was/is composed by many geniuses, but there are geniuses in the realm of Metal, Rock, Pop, R&B, Rap, and other genres of music as well. it's equally as hard (if not harder) to make great success as a Rock Star in contrast to a pianist. becoming a professional in music requires great practice, and sometimes, luck. don't get me wrong there are exceptions, but 99% of the time to become truly great at something, you must WORK at it.

  • I personally have never heard of anyone called a prodigy or a genius in rock besides freddy mercury. And how can you say that its equally as hard (if not harder) to make great success as a rock star in contrast to a pianist? look at the juilliard school. It has a lower acceptance rate than Harvard. Its clear that all forms of art has gone backwards over the last century. Maybe its because people these days have got better things to do than to sit at home and write music.

  • yes modern music is good indeed.

some are composed with hardships and some... should we say... 'easy' like for example lady gaga's paparazzi (which was composed for about just 10 min. if my source was not lying that is.)

but classical music (like this piece) is not to be criticized... and so as all other kinds of music...

    (in my opinion at least)...

  • wow my words are not enough to say that you were very good

    keep it up !!!

  • LOL!!Musculine.. haha.. No offence but I cant see it though and also.. No offence,, is that your piano .. is it tuned??????????==

It sounded weirdly and also.. the starting too much on Staccato..==.. nway.. great job

  • im sorry to read about your wrist injury. you are really good! keep it up!

  • r u azn?

  • That was totally awesome! I'm impressed. You dont want to do a tutorial on this, do you? :P just some part would be awesome, I love it!

  • Excellent, just excellent.

  • great job! Some advice would be to keep your tempo more consistent. You are much faster in some parts than you are at others.

Keep up the great work and keep on practicing!

  • oooo ouch. maybe a little more practice :/

  • It wasn't perfect but for a 16 year old amateur that was amazing!

  • that was AMAZING. amazing...

  • Brilliant work. One of the better versions I've seen =)

  • impressed at your 4 5 trills

  • wow nice job

  • Amazing to see how that is actually played it sounds almost an impossibility. Excellent thank you!!!

  • even though there are parts that you put in half speed, i will raise my hands and say good job!!!!!!

ofcourse its hard.... i can only play the part at the end hahahahahaa^_^

  • Nice Technique. I felt it was very dry though, more pedal perhaps?

  • like a joke :O

  • 1 more month and u will be able to play much faster and smooth

  • OMG TAYLOR YOU ARE AMAZING.

Play for me sometime at school pleeease :D

  • u play well but it is a little slow

  • wow! 14 k p lng nian huhh?

  • stunning work! i've studied this piece a lot. I dont read music, i play by ear and i almost have it, but not as remotely good as you!

  • Bravo girl! What a beautiful handworking! You're amazing!

  • i cant jugde you because this IS a really hard piece!!!

    kudos for you!

  • bravissimo!

  • a little bit slow but I like it:)

  • Excellent effort if you are only 14! Congratulations. In terms of how long to learn a piece like this that is a very subjective question. But realistically in order to play this piece at a professional standard takes several years of serious study as well as some pretty serious talent. For a great version check out Adam Gyorgy for example.

  • Hi, how long you been playing, I was thinking about starting having piano lessons.

How long do you think it could take me to get to this level, I am a bit older than you, 22, do you think that will be a problem for learning to play at that age?

I mean, is it one of those things you need to learn young?

  • Hi im fourteen and play the piano, and i already feel to old lol.. but it's never to late to learn!! you still can, it just might take a bit longer... Just persevere and you will do fine...Jordan.

  • yep, the earlier(younger) the better =)

but the word TOO LATE can be DISREGARDED =)

as long as you have the WILL, u'll learn,

    but i'm telling yah,

sooner, while starting the lesson, u'll feel tired and sick of practices...

i know, coz u want is a MASTERPIECE in an INSTANT =)

but if u want to reach that level,

u must SAVE ALOT, i mEAN ALOT OF PATIENCE =)

    Good Luck on yah ^_^

btw, i'm 15 and i started playing the piano when i was like 6 or 7, and im kinda good now, but not that Pro =)

  • wow u're great!! practice more u'll b the future professional pianist xD!!

  • Lol... i thought the starting was hard but now eeee the middle is harder ....

  • Nice job ^^

    w00t for 14 year-olds playing this piece! :)

  • Can any body here can tell me who is the original composer of the capanella is it paganini or lizst?

  • paganini

later liszt arranged it for the piano

  • I can only play two pages of this piece! Seeing you play gave me great confidence because I'm 14 also! I got angry at this piece so I moved on to Chopin's Revolutionary Etude. I know, I'm a wierd person!

  • Amazing...O_o

Wish i can do that XD...

  • nice one dawg

  • Wow, this was pretty good! Excellent rendition too! Great work! :D

  • Its look like Yundi li..pianist...

  • how long you had been practice?

    Its very Good and professional....well...

maybe some years later you'll better than Yundi Li...

i wish i can play this song..

    pray for me..ty.,,,

  • how long did u practise ti get the whole piece done?

  • Nice work!!!

I like the way you played it!!!

I hope I could finish it...

I've already started to learn this piece

since Oct. but I'm not yet done...

how long does it take you to finish it???

    :)

    thanks for posting

  • Bene

  • When I first found this video I honestly thought it would be some terrible amateurs attempt of La Campanella...but I was surprised to see how good it was. Its nice to see someone going at their own pace, instead of rushing and ruining it trying to be like yundi li or Evgeny kissin. Great job!!! :)

  • I am not often very impressed but now I am. I like it because it not that causal vary fast shoow verison.

  • Can someone please give me the music!!!

  • ur a young prodigy...

  • fantasticly played for a 14 year old!

  • good job, i hope you can do better than this next thim but still i'm impressed

  • im sure if liszt could hear this im very sure his happy =)

  • I can see you hate the part where your hands on the right hand is jumping that horrible 3 octave thing. Don't worry this is the only song ever my grandma has ever had trouble because that part.

  • Would this be a big jump for me? I just mastered the fantasie impromptu and the third movement of the moonlight sonata

  • Hmm....... well I can't play either of those..... or La Campanella for that matter but I think the technique required for the isn't something I've seen in anything else though if you can play those two I don't see why, with a little practice, you wouldn't be able to play this.
