Steel infrastructure is fatally damaged at 600C when not protected by fire proofing. THAT was the major reason given in the 9/11 report as being the fatal factor in the beginning of the WTC collapses. It wasn't that the steel had melted, it was that the structural intregrity of the steel had been comprimised... please read the report. Even Loose Change creators have admitted that the official reason was valid, they just didn't believe that all floors could have collapsed.

As I pointed to him, it is 600C without steel fireproofing, roughly the same temp sthat jet fuel burns at. His given temp is what it takes to make it liquid steel, but 600C will make it as structually strong as a wax candle. That is what 9/11 report says happened. The fire prooofing was dislodged, the jet fuel burned at it's normal temp in WTC 1 and 2, while in WTC7 major fires burnt visibly(on video tape too!) for 7 hours(!), and figurative turned the steel into swiss cheese.

Yes, commissions usually start after the first investigations are concluded so yes I think just over a year and a bit is pretty good timing... all the initial investigations would be complete and the best amount of information would have been avalible from all the other ongoing investigations by the various departments. Commissions are not about beginning investigations, they are about collating the various investigations into one coheasive report.

You do not need to wire every floor. Especially a top to bottom implosion. It woul take 25-30 floors and have the core fall upon itself.
