It had nothing to do with respect for another player. He said he's an 80's baby, meaning that he grew up when the NBA was actually physical and not many players got ejected for weak stuff. Kobe likes the physical play.

@GoinabilityINC I mean opposing players relating to each other was once (still is most times) due to the competitive spirit. I mean it like that Cavs-Nuggets last season. LeBron and Melo brought the best out of each other by trying to outdo the other. Now, that same spirit won't exist between Wade and LeBron.. they know that the Heat have 2 of 3 top players and will only try hard enough to perform in harmony. Sorry, I don't get what you mean.
