Avoid torque spikes :D If necessary lift off very shortly when boost hits too hard; Good tires help too :) This is an older video with less power though. But if its dry, traction is only an issue in 2nd

The braking distance for the 850 is about 118 feet from 60 mph - better than the new Ferrari 612 (just over at 120ish). The abs kick in, in my V70, feels perfect for me.
I had a little scuffle with one of these on a B-road the other day. Admittedly it was a little moist out there and i didn't have enough power to compete with him in my T5, but even if i did, on the twisty stuff those EVO's are unstopable. There is no Volvo that would ever be able to beat an EVO on the bends no matter how much power it was running. Those things defy the laws of physics.

Really? I wouldn't imagine an EVO to be boring, how so? That EVO the other day though was simply incredible on the bends. For the engine performance, not so much, the block is standard. Just a bigger turbo, injectors, fuel pump, exhaust, and good software. Standard upgrades for any turbo car really. Brakes and suspension were relatively more expensive.
People have no idea about that car till they can not pass it.I have a 850 turbo wagon with some work done to it and every day it makes me laugh when people can not pass it.
I also have an 850R with and IPD ECU, 3in downpipe/full exhaust, and the stock turbo.. boosting 14.5psi.. r u saw that i could pull on a car like that?
The EVO's are nice but beatable once moving. I'm sure from a standing start the result would be the same, it would just take longer to catch it. Your car is mighty fast just watching the speedometer during one of the runs shows the rate of acceleration is quite quick, and I have Volvo turbos so I know. Nice car.
I don't know exactly. Intake, exhaust line, software...he was saying it was around "400HP" but obviously its not even close. He said he ran 1.9 bar peak fading to 1.7 bar but he is no quicker than when he used 1.5 bar last time so the tuning could be better imo.

Verbruik op de snelweg aan 120 is 9L/100. Op de Nurburgring 35L/100 :P

Ya I've driven an 8 MR which was stock, the handling is great. Although in stock trim extremely boring and the engine sound sucks :-\
