  • Hi there, I have a problem with my canon T2i, when I'm recording video.... everytime I zoom with it I see the light exposure changes (light flickers a bit in the image) but all my settings are maunal. Do you what could cause this?

  • @danibrazeau its just how the objevtive is ..

  • @danibrazeau I'm not sure WTF KREBSLAND was talking about, but the problem is part of DSLR's. I'm ASSUMING you're using the kit lens, which is a variable aperture. So if you're at 18mm, you can be at 3.5. However at 55mm, you're at 5.6 at the lowest. It will adjust to that when you zoom. Try it. ALSO, even if you're at 5.6 on 18mm, you'll STILL see a bit of a flicker zooming to 55mm because the t2i is, whether you like it or not, a photography camera. It's not made FOR video (to be continued)

  • @danibrazeau (part 2) it's made for photos with a video capability. DSLRs will always have this problem as far as I see. I don't know how the AF100 works with zoom since it's a hybrid, but hopefully better, BUT it uses the same lenses, and it's not the sensors on the cameras causing that. Not sure if that helps or not.
