Me and my mates used to frequent Camden palace on a friday night from late 88 to circa mid 92. Not only on the Orange nights but also the the regular friday "Trax" nights with no MC's (thank goodness!!). Chris Paul & DJ Squirrel spinning everything from classic house, aciiiieeed, early uk hardcore anthems to belgian/dutch hardcore techno slammers!! What a rush!! What an atmosphere. My fave memories of that place were around the summer of 91. 12-12.30AM. Bang on one.
@tnt90s The volume would turn up. He'd drop the heavier, harder tunes to send the crowd into a frenzy & send them to a acompletely different planet. They were the best times.
CAMDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN MASSIVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! big shouts to all the camden crew, u know who u are. It was one big happy raving mad family for 91-92 the golden years of the rave scene and camden was legendary. Every friday we went. Never missed it. So big up all the LUTON Crew who were always there in full effect. Wish we could go back!!! big up Orange Crew and da squirrel!!!!

Thanks for sharing! I didn't miss a Friday night at the Palace between July and Christmas 1991. Saturday nights my crew hopped between the Rocket and other London venues including the Fitness Centre, Labrynth, Turnmills and others.
We were at the opening nights of the Ministry of Sound, Club United Kingdom, and the Sanctuary in Milton Keynes!
