  • They fucked the new version up! It's just dry and empty compared to the classics.

  • If they could get Joe Alaskey to voice Daffy here, why couldn't he do it in the new Looney Tunes show?

  • why is looney tunes never on? i mean its not even on boomerang...

  • @jubjub444

If you don't know, CN has it back on DAILY! Mon-Fri 6am and 12pm and Sat-Sun at 6am only.

  • @ElectroGamer64 im either not awake or i am gone

  • @jubjub444 Sucks to be you!

  • Andrew W.K. is the 1 dislike

  • I just learned that Looney Tunes will be returning to Boomerang on the 4th of July @ 7:30pm on regular basis.

  • @TeamRocket2010 Where did you get this information?

  • It's back on at 12 now! If you are somehow able to watch it(such as college kids with a free period) please do so it can have good ratings to stay on the air.

  • @ButlerLewis That's what I'm doing every day!

  • @TeamRocket2010 That's Awesome! We need to spread the word.

  • @ButlerLewis Please Do. I'm actually watching it now on Cartoon Network West right now!

  • Kinda sucks that they always show the same types of episodes when they do these marathons though :\ All the other ones are deemed either: too violent or too racist

  • Yeah this is back on every Monday through Friday at 12pmEST.. awesomeness! :)

  • looney tunes back on!!!yeah!i know its temporailly but thats why i record them when they come on

  • They've unlocked them from the closet... again.

And they'd be stupid just to show the new Looney Tunes after only one month or so. They show the newer Tom and Jerry's and the older ones.

  • Looney Tunes is back, but don't get your hopes up because it's only temporaily...

  • @baul104 Serious??? Awww... :(

  • @baul104 Not really. What these people are trying to do is get people prepared for the new looney tunes show, in order to get kids to know bugs and daffy. And hey, people might actually be able to watch this when they get up.

  • It's five o'clock in the morning where I am. Adult Swim has just ended and Looney Tunes are on. Bless you Cartoon Network!! I'm so glad I recklessly stayed up the entire night!!! :D

  • Classic Looney Tunes return tomorrow on Cartoon Network! Weekdays at 12pm!

  • @InvaderPet and also at 6 am. This might actually allow people to watch these cartoons bright and early, not just when there's nobody home.

  • I read up this should air by May of this year.

  • I love this!

But I can't find the follow-up commercial anywhere. The one where the Looney Tunes are let out, and then the door slams in Daffy's face, and he screams "WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS?!" Help me out?

  • So THAT'S where all the old shows went!

  • Well, you can thank Sam "Cha-Ching" Register for locking the toons up in a storage closet. Rumor has it that Wile E. almost caught the Road Runner. Sylvester almost got even with Tweety!

And Bugs and Daffy were just trying to get out.

  • Everything they're saying now is a Fucking Lie

  • cn doesnt get it,its about the fans not themeselfs.

  • Don't worry-- the "Looney Tunes" will be revived once again sometime this or next year, with a new style/animation. ;) Can't wait!

  • Reason why it was dropped is some parent groups found it too violent for a kids time slot and demanded it be bumped to the adult swim group.

  • @facerw If that was the case, it would've been dropped from the air back during the 90s. Don't give me that cheap excuse.

  • can someone upload the other video of this when they did returned back to Cartoon Network for a few monthes the video that gots Bugs bunny saying they back

  • To bad it didn't stay on for very long, I was very mad cause my little nephew was just starting to get into the Looney Tunes cartoons!

  • do you got the promo where they said Looney Tunes have returned back to Cartoon Network if you got that can u upload it

  • This show was back for a while in 2009 from Nov to Jan but it had low ratings

  • And they're gone again... Word has it that CN is now under new management. Let's hope it gets better now.

  • Seeing what happened to cartoon network makes me want to become a successful business man just so I can buy cartoon network and restore it to its original form. That is my life goal.

  • if looney toons wont b on CN let it b on Boomerang instead

  • looney tunes are the best. espcially daffy duck...why the hell was duck dodgers cancells anyway??

  • It can't possibly be getting much worse ratings than shit like Johnny Test. I wish they'd make a channel dedicated only to Looney Tunes -_-...but none of these networks even give a shit about their viewers.

  • Just another example of a once great network giving great cartoons the shaft.

  • Here's why CN was pulled off of CN:

A bad time slot. 11 A.M. CARTOON NETWORK!?!? SERIOUSLY!?!? WHO IS GONNA WATCH SOMETHING AT 11:00 IN THE MORNING!?!? KIDS ARE IN SCHOOL AND PARENTS ARE AT WORK!!!! How the hell do you expect to get high er raitings by putting something at 11:00 A.M.? HOW!?!?

Its like they just put the show back on CN just to pull it back in the closet.

  • How could they expect it to get high ratings if they only show it at 11am when nobodys home?!

  • @CillaDB i agree

  • They Marathon was suppose to show Penelope Pussycat but it was all a lie >:( Bring Penelope BACK

  • ...and apparently CN shoved them back in the closet after the marathon was over :(

  • this show was taken off the channel again because of low ratings again

  • Seeing how the Looney Tunes just got yanked yet AGAIN, this Daffy line from Space Jam proves quite relevant:

"We've gotta get new agents, we're getting screwed."

  • This ad is dated, since LT have been pulled off CN AGAIN!

  • This New Year marathon of 2010 is the last time CN will be showing Looney Tunes. It is not going to be on at 11am everyday anymore

  • How do you know they won't bring it back later on again?

I mean, I'm just hoping here, but how naive and shortsighted is Cartoon Network? They've deliberately kept the Looney Tunes off the air for 5 years, making new generations of children gradually forget about these fantastic characters; and at the same time being fed all day with garbage like Hanna Montana.

  • Then, CN brings LT back in a bad time slot (seriously, only at 11:pm?) and, apparently by judgment of the ratings during the first two months, axes it again! How do they expect the Looney Tunes to refind its full audience after years away from TV in only two short months? They have to give them time, and believe in the quality of their product. The Looney Tunes' popularity has proved itself timeless for 70 years, and it will do so again if these executives can stop being so damn near-sighted.

  • I am really shocked (in a good way) to see that Cartoon Network has returned from it's downfall and put Looney Tunes back on to the small screen. WE DON'T NEED ANY OF THAT CN REAL SHIT!!! The new year's marathon really made my decade! Cartoon Network will always live.

  • It's great that CN brought back the Looney Tunes on a regular basis!

  • Well, what were they saying in the door?

  • I'm so glad they're bringing them back! It looks like Cartoon Network is starting go back in the right direction. Maybe now Disney and Nickelodeon will learn from this.

  • WHo is that janitor?

  • I think I thought "GET ME OUTTA HERE!!!!!" is because how it was said. Bugs says "here" like "hea", while Daffy says "here" the same way.

  • Sounds more like Daffy to me. Maybe 'cause Bugs & Daffy were voiced by the same person back then. & what were the other Tunes yelling? That's what I asked.

  • Just made my day.

  • The clip from that Sylvester cartoon... does anyone remember the name of that cartoon from 0:17-0:18?

  • Now something to fix is all those ads they stick over the cartoons. Not like we don't get enough commercials as it is.

  • What were the Tunes saying at the beginning when they were yelling to get out of the storage room? I could only hear Sam, 0:05 ("Op'n up that door") & Daffy, 0:09 ("GET ME OUTTA HERE!!!!!")

  • The line "GET ME OUTTA HERE!!!!!" is really Bugs Bunny

  • Good, now tell them to bring back Popeye,The Hanna-Barbera cartoons(i.e. The Flintstones),the MGM Cartoons(Droopy&The Wolf,George and Jr.Etc.)The 70's & 80's toons(Thundercats,Alvin and the Chipmunks) the UPA toons,The Jay Ward toons(Rocky & Bullwinkle, the REAL George of the Jungle(not that shity show they air now) and all the other classics, get rid of the pathetic shitty ass"CN Real"bullshit, cancel so called cartoons like"Chowder"(loudest most repetitive show I've ever seen) and we will be cool

  • Thank God we get to see these classic cartoons... It's been an eternity for me. Hell, maybe....maybe....Cartoon Network is starting...not...to..suck... maybe next they'll dump live action crap, and add more decent cartoons. Better not hope too much though.

  • I thought they would show this: Door falls on the floor, Bugs (peeks head out of door, walks out): Eh... (munches carrot) what's up, doc? Daffy: I'll tell ya what's-s-s up! We're havin' a marathon! Tweety: Wet's go telw da guys! (all run out) Bugs: They may be crazy, but they're family. (munches carrot) & ya love 'em. (Looney Tunes title card comes down, all come out through hole, give the "Ta-Da!"-type pose, commercial ends)

Did you guys think that would happen?

  • what is the name of the looney tune cartoon where the vulture says,"My mama done told me, pick up something for dinner?"

  • bugs gets the boid... enjoy beaky buzzard!

  • thank you

  • its about damn time

  • YES! A step forward!

  • Woah..guys ..Woah...Those Are...Cartoons...On..."Cartoon" Network...Woah.

  • Finally something CN does right after all this time. Going back to their roots.

  • JUMPING JEHOSAPHAT

I can't get that out of head damnit!

  • I like how they're basically admitting "Yeah, we screwed up by not airing these cartoons for five years." Good show, Cartoon Network!

  • Wow xD

  • Locked in a closet.... tsk tsk. First the Warner Brothers (and the Warner SIster), now this.

I guess they must really like locking up their cartoons...

Honestly though, I think they are just throwing a bone for older fans. CN can air all old shows, but then make new reality shows, which doesn't really change much in terms of ratings for the channel. IMO, anyway.

  • There is a possibility that one of these three current voice-over actors performed this commercial:

Dee Bradley Baker, Bob Bergen, or Joe Alaskey

  • I go with Joe Alaskey

  • Me too. Alaskey was also in "Bah, Humduck".

  • Hey there, CN2

  • I finally get to hear gems such as "I'm sowwy fewwows...I'm huntin' for the spowt of it!" (Elmer J. Fudd) and "Say! Box Full O'Fun Kit No. 7?" (Foghorn Leghorn asking the dog).

  • Yay! This makes me rember the old cartoon network. Hopefully more will follow. We still have Tom and Jerry, but getting looney tunes back will be huge.

  • @ButlerLewis It happened FEB. 7, 2011. GET READY.

  • good voice acting daffy

  • Did Cartoon Network just make fun of themselves?

  • @CaptainTooner well......if you cant laugh at yourself. although they never will be able to full laugh at their selves until that crappy "hole in the wall" and "dude what would happen show" are put off the air. FOR GOOD!!!!!

  • The Looney Tunes should sue CN for wrongful neglect. They could have suffocated in that closet!

  • @InvaderPet You know they ain't real, don't you? They're also owned by Warners,so if they even were real, they'd couldn't sue, even if they'd got Rupert Murdoch on their side! Lol,Tho'!

  • @InvaderPet I think CN was trying to kill them.
